Our cabin had a privat kitchen and shower outside which was really nice. Everything was super clean. Ellie was very nice and helpful with everything and gave us some good advice on good food around the neighbourhood. The common area was really nice with with a great ocean view. I can definitely recommend staying at Rancho Estero (:

With a large variety of boards to pick from, you should be happy for anyday of surfing at Estero Beach. The fibreglass boards are definitely well loved. Their new soft tops perform well and maintained well. The shower coming back to the essential hammock zone is clutch Friendly owners!

We stayed here twice, one night each time. The location can't be beat: you're right above the beach and are serenaded by the waves all night. Our first visit we stayed in a great cabin with an outdoor bathroom and kitchen: nothing beats showering outside, or making coffee in the morning to a view of the sunrise. Pro tip: this is the perfect place to stay if you're staying for more than one night and want to prepare some of your own food, which is what we usually look for in a place. But if you're only one night there, know that it's further down the beach road (not far, about 10-15 minutes) and there isn't a restaurant, so you have to walk back in for meals. Some cabins have a private kitchen, and there is also a shared kitchen, so if you bring your own stuff, you've got it made. There is a great shared deck for all to use as well, with hammocks and an incredible view of the pacific. We really enjoyed our stay.

I stayed at Rancho Estero this past week for 3 nights, first in the large cottage for 2 nights and then in the small bamboo hut. The large cottage has a great outdoor kitchen, it's own bathroom, 3 beds and an amazing view of the ocean. I was in heaven!!!! Then I stayed in the smaller bamboo hut for a night and it was also amazing!! There is a great shared kitchen, common lounging area and hot showers! The managers were so wonderful and friendly. I had a wonderful stay at Rancho Estero and highly recommend you stay there! You are right on the surf beach, great restaurants close by and so peaceful!!

This was the perfect place for me! It's super chill, the managers are fantastic, friendly, easy to deal with. The staff are amazing... and the location is unreal! If you are a beginner surfer, want to chill on the beach, or want to lay in a hammock with a great view this is the place. If you want room service, air conditioning, ensuite bath, bar, night life and those amenities....go else where. There is a great little shared outdoor kitchen to cook your meals and converse with other guests. Zigor and Elli (managers) will help you organize any adventure you like and know all the ins and outs of the area. Zigor is a fantastic surf instructor if you would like to try riding the waves... For me this is the perfect level of comfort between a hostel and a hotel. There were families, solo travellers, and couples staying here during the two weeks I was. It was a great atmosphere for everyone! I will definitely return here.
