I did my Advanced Open Water Course plus three fun dives with Panama Dive Center and I can strongly recommend it. I had Sophie as my instructor. She was very knowledgeable and patient, helping me improve my diving and also pointing out aspects I need to work on further. The dive center also offered me free Nitrox certification because they... I was in Panama for 3 weeks and took many boats. This was certainly the very best The dive guide (Kim) was excellent and I had 3 fine dives at the Coiba national park Very recommendable ! PS: do NOT take a boat ride with the socalled Coiba express a few stores further down the street, NOT safe

I had some great dives with Sophie and Panama Dive Center in Coiba National in Panama. Our second dive offered me the oppourtinity of my first ever drift dive, quite the experience, little effort on our part, but a great chance to see plenty of fish (reef sharks, octopus, turtle and smaller reef fish. Plan on going back to Coiba... More

Did 3 dives to coiba island ($160 usd - $140 for 2, $20 for the extra third dive, decide day of if you can do/want to do 3) I liked that it included a dive computer. The dive centre was very professional and our dive master Sophie was fantastic. Unfortunately the conditions were crap and visibility sucked but that's not... More

Our group, consisting of four 62 to 70 yr old women, reserved our spaces on the boat to Coiba months in advance. We chose Panama Dive Center based on recommendations from veteran visitors to Santa Catalina. Mind you we were NOT divers. We were able to reserve 2 seats on Monday and 2 seats on Tuesday, even with early planning.... More

We are glad that you had a lovely snorkeling experience with us. I am sorry we could´t accommodate the four of you in one go on the morning of your trip. Should you ever come back, just let us know that there is four of you before you make the booking, and we will open 4 (or more) spots on... More

Panama Dive Center is the only 5 star Padi dive shop in Santa Catalina, & their service matched our expectations. We met at 7:30 am to get fitted for equipment & fill out paperwork. The extended dive briefing was at 8 am, which was very nice since most other locations just quickly discuss the dives over the course of the... More

I really enjoyed the diving at Isla Coiba National Park in Santa Catalina. Lots of sharks, sting rays, turtles and moray eels and huge schools of other amazing fish. PDC runs a very clean, well organized professionally staffed dive shop. They provide a very safe diving experience and trust worthy equipment if needed. They were highly recommended to me by... A group of us older (50s to 70s) gringos, most resident in Boquete, Panama, drove to Santa Catalina to dive in Isla Coiba National Park. A few of us had 100++ dives under our belts, and most had <10 open water dives. We chose Panama Dive Center ("PDC") in part because, of the principle dive operations in Santa Catalina, PDC,... More

Best rated dive center in Santa Catalinaand with good reason. Extremely well organised, dives were wonderful and the stop for lunch at Isla Coiba was quite pleasant. Their lunch sandwich was a little bland however, but its a very minor complaint haha.
