About Kaiteriteri Kayaks
Sea Kayaking Abel Tasman National Park Kaiteriteri Kayaks has been operating sea kayaking tours in the Abel Tasman National Park for nearly 20 years. With every trip we ensure that: safety is a priority; everyone has a relaxed time in an enjoyable atmosphere, and the beautiful environment is respected. Our trips are about experienced guides and good times, not hard work. For lots of laughs join a trip with the locals! Over 50 kilometres of coastline offers dozens of golden sand beaches to visit, while the many coves and lagoons provide plenty of interesting nooks and crannies to explore. Sea kayaking here also opens up a world of sea and bird life encounters with animals such as penguins, seals and dolphins. So all in all, you’ve got to say, it’s really not a bad spot!

We did a 3 hours unguided kayak trip to Split Apple Rock and had the best time. Two of us hadn't kayaked before and two of us had kayaking experience. The guides explained everything so well before we set off. The kayak to Split Apple Rock isn't that long, we had some wind help us so it took less than an 1hr one way. We spotted at a golden beach and had a swim on the way back. The price is reasonable, all equipment was provided and the weather was great. Both Mark and Mark were really helpful and kind which made the experience so much fun.

Two of us did the Split Apple Rock tour on a beautiful warm morning. Neither of us had kayaked before so we were quite unsure of what to expect. We loved it! We had a great guide: simple but thorough safety and equipment briefing; regular pauses for information about the points of interest; and he even magic'd up tea, coffee or juice when we landed at the beach near Split Apple. The whole experience vastly exceeded my expectations. Even if you're an unfit old guy with zero experience, like me, don't hesitate - go for it. You'll enjoy every minute.

A little bit of everything, not too much of anything! We joined 3 other people with our guide so a nice small group on this lovely day out. Water taxi dropped us off at the start point for our self guided hike along the Tasman Track. Beautiful 6K hike through spectacular forest, with breathtaking viewpoints. We then reached our meeting point for our guide and kayaks. A short kayak round the point and we reached a secluded beach for our picnic lunch. After lunch we cruised around in our kayaks checking out the fur seals and scenery before reaching the final beach ready for our water taxi back. Exceeded expectations

Really enjoyed the morning kayaking with a great guide followed by or cruise past the islands and seals before going for a walk and swimming in the sea on one of the golden beaches. Highly recommend this tour.
