The place is lovely, amazing and visiting this place is like a dream come true. We enjoyed the beautiful sights on the way and around the lake. It was one of the best tours i have been on.

We were a group of four travelling from Chandigarh.We got down at Mandi and then we had to wait for 4-5 hours for the first bus to prashar. We didn't know that we had to get down at Baggi if we wanted to trek, since that bus directly goes to prashar.But luckily for us, the bus broke down about 10... More

Very good place, safe for Family and childrens. Avoid to visit in Winter March to June will be the best season. We visited in March and experience the Rain and Snowfall, enjoyed a lot in untouched snow. In summer you can drive the car till the end point, when we visited in March due to rain and snowfall we cannot... More

Its a religious place near to snow line. Reaching by means of transport is little tricky but can be done. Nearest town is Mandi. New IIT is located on the foothill of parashar mountain. Absolutely amazing experience be it on the way or at the top. Recommended for people tight on budget. Best visited in Late February or Early March (for snow). You might get lucky enough to witness snowfall as well. The beauty of this place will surely stay with you for a long-long time.

if u want to start your journey as a trekker than this is it. visited in the month of september amidst some great weather. the place is truly mesmerizing with lots of greenery. after reaching the place felt we are on top of something extra ordinary.
