A while ago we bought a Groupon for this park. Today I went there with my 4 year old. I bought a little bag of feed for the animals at the entrance for 1 euro. We walked trough the park and fed the animals that you are allowed to feed. The park is very well maintained and the people are very friendly. My daughter loved the playground so we spent some time there too. We'd spent a good 3 hours in the park.
The ruin is beautiful just a shame you can't get any closer.
When we arrived a little after 10 the parking lot was already full but there is on street parking available too. I would probably go again on a nice sunny day like today.

I visited Kasteelpark Born with my little nephew from about 20 months old.
He was totally in love with all the animals that are very friendly and used to people, so they approach very easily.
Lots of different things to see, and with the playground also lots to do. Nice that you can feed some of the animals as well.
Definitely a place that is nice for young kids to teach them about animal life in a relaxed setting.
Prices are super fair and i'll definitely come back here again.

I went here mainly to get a good view of the castle ruin, but I didn't mind paying 7.50 euros to see some animals. One does get a good view of the ruin, and there is an information panel with spoken information about the history of the castle. One episode that was missing here, but which I read about later in wikipedia, is that there was a pogrom on the jews seeking shelter in the castle. The zoo is small but quite nice with a large variety of birds, some monkeys, lynxes, and more common animals like goats and pigs.

Sweet little parc in a nice village with some everyday fun. Eat Tapas at a local pub called Aw Pastorie.

OMG!!!!! This place is BRILLIANT. I had read some reviews and thought we must go see for ourselves. I went with my wife and our 2 year old son, and my parents as we were all camping together on the Belgium/Netherlands border. There was lots to see and do, for the adults and my son alike, nice park for the little one and great animal enclosures, all clean, and the animals looked very comfortable. Prices reasonable and well worth it for the visit, there are some lovely views of a ruin which is a great photo opportunity for any photographer, amateur to professional. Nice cafe, and clean toilets. Can be a little difficult to find, as it is hidden in a housing estate.

The parc is not too big.Special for small children its very good. They can walk around by themselves. There are not the big animals , but the smaller ones.
there is also a nice place where the children can play and have some drinks or eat some ice-cream or other small things. Its good for a half day trip.
