If you like Dutch cheese this is the place for you, they have a fantastic selection of cheeses which you can sample. I would recommend the Beer Cheese and Smoked Cheese which were both very tasty. Pretty well priced as well we got 3 cheeses and some dip for €42.

We happened to come across this farm when we took the ANWB beer walk (from Monnickendam to Volendam). It's nice to take a look inside, it's free. You can view the stables, there is a shop and there is a building with a beautiful viewpoint over the meadows. The videos inside are fun and educational. Great to see how this company works sustainably. In the shop you can taste cheese, the garlic cheese was especially delicious. An expensive affair, but we don't think that's surprising in such an expensive place.
We were the only Dutch people. Toilets are unfortunately a bit dingy, because many foreign tourists do not know how to use a Western toilet.

We came here as a part of a tour, on our way to Edam. I'm a cheese freak, so it was great to see the farm and the factory. It was very much a commercial endeavor though; the guide raced through the information session about how cheese was made and shuffled us through the storage area. They were very focused on the sales aspect of it. Which was fine--Henri Willig is a big Dutch cheese franchise, and since they don't need to be refrigerated, I brought several back as gifts. But If you're more interested in the process part, you might be disappointed.

We came here as part of a tour to Edam. I was expecting to see the actual process of making the cheese, but instead we got a very rushed explanation of bits of the process and then hurried into the shop and tasting room. The talk lasted just over 5 mins. Very disappointing. The cheese shop had lots on offer and many samples. I felt it was all about the retail side of things and getting you to spend money.. Wouldn’t recommend it.

Guide on how cheese is made was short but interesting, some lovely cheeses to sample in the shop. Came back with some delicious edam! Was amazing to see the farm at the back with the cows being milked by the high tech machine. Great trip out from Amsterdam :)

We enjoyed our stop here as part of a tour we were on. Although it is clearly set up to cater to tourists, it’s fine because they give a cheese demonstration, and then an opportunity to buy a huge variety of cheeses. We also got to see the cows being milked in the back part of the property.

The Netherlands and cheese share a deep historical connection. Enjoy a complimentary multilingual guide through the cheese-making process. Afterward, explore a store to savor (and purchase) diverse cheese varieties. Conclude your visit with a glimpse into the automated milking and feeding processes, along with the cowshed maintenance.

Clean store, great introduction into the making of cheese. Samples were everywhere in the store and so many flavours! Didn’t get the stable tour but that’s fine. Overall it was enjoyable.

OK, so I went here on a company event for a cheese tour and lunch. Sounded like it could be fun!
Well, it wasn't.
It started with a 5 minute tour of how cheese was made and a big point was how to use a cheese slicer (?!).
Afterwards we were escorted into the gift shop to buy stuff. I didn't buy anything and later I saw the same cheeses at the airport for half the price!
Anyway, afterwards lunch was served. Not much to say about that but when I asked for a glass of tap water the immediate response was "water is not included". WHAT?! It wasn't like any other drinks were offered, except coffee. Who drinks just coffee with lunch?!
So, whatever you do, avoid this place!
