We joined the SUP Tour Philippines eco - tour to Busay Waterfalls.
It's smaller already because the typhoon changed it. But you can swim to minor waterfall on the left to get a Jacuzzi like waterfall.

These falls can be seen at the end part of the first half of the Loboc River cruise as this is where the boats turn around to go back to where the crusie started. Very small falls so I presume there are bigger ones that cannot be seen just by joining the cruise. It is a pretty site nonetheless.

Busay falls is a series of smaller water falls leading to the loboc river. You get to see the last part of this series of water feature during the loboc river restaurant cruise. However, the main falls is still a few meters up river which would be very difficult to reach especially if you are not a seasoned mountaineer. This is a nice place but if you are not the serious mountaineer adventurer, there are better places to see and do in Bohol instead.

As I described in my review of the nearby Nuts Huts resort, this waterfall can be very dangerous, particularly if anyone attempts to reach the main fall (not recommended). I nearly lost my life there from drowning. If you go, please ask the locals for advice and take a guide if possible.

This river is normally included in a day trip. Small buses arrive and for about $10.00 you get a 1 1/2 hour boat ride which include a lunch buffet. The food is average, the route is very scenic. Along the way there were two huts where children dances, perforned and sang. It was fun and entertaining. I personaly would not go out of my way to experience this but if you are on a tour I highly recommend doing this. It beats having to wait for you group to save some money (which is what a couple of people did)

This is best seen when you do the zipline at the eco adventure park in loboc!
Busay falls is also best visited when you rent a small boat for a private tour!
riding the river cruise while checking this is also okay.

My wife and I visited the Busay Falls at the Loboc River, in August 2012 whilst on a 7 Sites Day tour with Bohol Adventure Tour http://www.boholadventure tour.com, we had a delicious lunch and got to see some of the singing and dancing of the Loay people who live in the area.
The falls are around 2 metres high but had a very high flow rate of water spilling over them. The jade green color of the water is due to the color of the sand on the river bed.

We booked a river cruise at Lobok River Resort and swam in this area. The water was really refreshing and it was a nice break half way through our river cruise experience. It was also special because you can look up and see people zip lining over the river. As I had already done the zip lining, it was fun to see it from a different angle. They are not the biggest of waterfalls, but still a nice swimming experience.

These falls can be seen from the river boat cruises. They are small, but still make for beautiful pictures. It would be nice to be able to get closer, but it was still enjoyable.

The falls is still recovering that's why it has a muddy color. Still you can see, using a nice magnifier, that there is still marine life.
