It is a unique experience but not worth the price. I was told by our driver/guide that all tours are now run by the town government and no longer owned by different private catering / cruise companies. There is no more competition thus the current management doesn't try that hard anymore

Not really worth the money. We paid 1300 pesos for the 2 of us. We were the last to board the boat, and the buffet was already in full swing. The cruise has no official time, they just leave when a boat fills up. The river is really pretty, so the cruise was nice but its kind of a rip off since they turn around immediately at the end. Not much of a chance to get pictures at the waterfalls or anything. The food was ok, but when we went to grab a few pictures before the boat turned around, our plates were cleared away and they had started resetting the tables for the next cruise. The traditional performance was nice but we didn't feel like the whole excursion was worth 650pesos each. Do kayaking or stand up paddle board instead.

Went today on a diy trip... Hired a motorbike and went myself..got thete early as was conflicting times on different reviews.. Amazing little trip up the river eating buffet style lunch..little stop along the way where we boarded a floating platform where there was singing dancing and guitars and you can join in and play guitar if you like Whole trip lasted 1,5 - 2hrs so not too long but still worth the 650 peso Definatley go again next time here

What can i say about this river cruise tour. It trek along a river side with pretty sceneries. There are couple of stops and be intertained by group local singers and shows there local dances proudly promoted the very best of philippine culture.Lunch on the boat is great and while being serenaded by quality angelic local group.

We loved the Lobuc River cruise - we did it as part of the ‘Countryside tour’ booked via Klook, however you could just as easily turn up and pay yourselves. The buffet had plentiful and tasty food, and was able to cater for my vegan sister. Rice, chicken, pork, prawns, jackfruit, salad, dessert, fruit, juice and many others. All the tables are sat around the edge of the boat so everybody has a view of the glistening river and the palm jungle on either side. There are slso additional viewing decks. We were treated to some live music, and there was also a photographer on board. We made one stop along the cruise to watch some local dancing - which was actually very interesting - not cringey or voyeuristic. You were free to give tips if you wanted to.
