Excellent guide with all the information about the history of this copper mine.
Freedom to enter and spend time in the tunnels wearing hard hats.
Fascinating history and good physical remains.
Like any ex-industrial site it is eerie imagining the blood sweat and tears from the past in such a tranquil setting as it is now.

We had a great time , the guide was really good with us always taking the time to explain in detail all about the mine and its history.

You might think its not for you? We all had a great time, I would suggest you pay it a visit.
Its only open a certain times so you may want to have a drive up first and check the times etc
We went into the mine for a walk round the tunnels on the first level I think and then all the way to the top of the pulley wheel tower further up the hill, great view from the top !

Our guide was great and made it a very interesting tour. While we were in the mine we had a bat fly over our heads. That was fun and perfect for Halloween! I took pictures while we were in the mine of metal supports in the shape of a rib cage, Our guide call this the belly of the whale. I would suggest if you are in the area take the tour.
