We had read a report about the beauty of the place and we took the opportunity to detour a little from the road to see it. The road to get there from Teruel is horrible. From Valencia much better. There is a blue zone for parking. We started bad. Then the entrance fee, those from the town and those rented in the town do not pay but for tourists they charge 3.5 euros for adults and 2.5 euros for children up to 10 years old. Since we had arrived there, we entered. Mistake. The place is overcrowded, without shade and if you don't have shoes, you can't enter the water. I know it's a river but charging that amount for entry, I expected it to be somewhat adapted. In short, we lasted just over 10 minutes and left. We feel cheated and obviously we will not return.
The place is very beautiful but there are a few towns with a free bathing area on the way that are much more recommendable.

You have to pay an entrance fee to access and, worst of all, they have a pay-as-you-go parking lot.
This parking lot is guarded by a guy who was already giving me a ticket while I was buying the parking ticket.
The locker room is not very comfortable and the water is not very hot

Incredible that you have to pay to enter the Fuente de los Baños area and that you cannot bring your pet even if it is on a leash. What a disappointment! I find it outrageous that they prohibit access while in the middle of nature when in places like El Corte Inglés and Zara, for example, they can enter. There are places that do not evolve, what a shame🐕

This is a great place to relax for a while. We came as part of a day tour so only got about an hour but longer would be great too. Near the buildings is where the warmer water comes out of the mountain and into the river so that area has a nice temperature. Away from that area cools down a bit but we went in late November and the river temps were still good. Make sure to swim away from the main area to the west as the water and the canyon is beautiful. There is a cave you can swim into and if you have a guide, an area you can get to to jump off a small cliff into the deeper part of the river.

A nice car ride through the woods brings you to this free water reservoir where you can bathe and swim. The water has a pleasant temperature. Water shoes are useful. You can also walk a path towards the reservoir! There is also a small catering point with toilet.

It's true that it could be nice if it wasn't overused and a little "oversold" in fact. It's not warm water although there are a few places while swimming where the water is slightly warm. This leads to a certain disappointment once we arrive...
It’s very pretty, but no boiling baths or hot springs or other natural pots. Nothing really exceptional that deserves 1 hour of very winding road.
The place is frequented by young people and families so it is better to go there early in the morning and during the week. Avoid weekends if you like peace and quiet!

The place is gorgeous, clean, and the water is wonderful. Unfortunately, in the afternoon a few people filled up and the water spoiled a bit. I recommend going in the morning. We went with the agency Excursiones Valencia, very helpful. Consiglio vivamente!

The trail was excellent, difficulty 3 out of 5. Recommended. We were there on Sunday and it was very crowded. The bus ride was without complaints. If you want to bathe, I strongly recommend bathing shoes. (pebbles) The sanitation was a nightmare, ladies. W

The place is a bit more than an hour's drive north of Valencia through winding mountain roads. Best to park across the bridge after the town of Montenejos, and be sure to display the parking ticket on the dashboard because we saw it being checked. The main swimming area is about a 10-minute walk from the parking lot, and would be good to wear sandals because of the pebbles in the shallow end of the river. The water is not really warm despite it being a hot spring, and it gets a bit deeper farther up the river away from the main area.

A good place to take a walk and even be able to take a bath at almost any time of the year. Its hot springs make it possible for the water to be at a perfect temperature for bathing even in December.
It's a shame that it is so crowded and there are so many people on holidays and vacations.
