You can sit on the fountain or on a bench and watch the world go bar. There are excellent selection of tapas bars and an ice cream parlour if you are hungry thirsty or hot - all worth a visit

The heart of the town, and a very pleasant and attractive spot to sit at a table outside a bar for a beer, some Rioja, and a few nibbles. Always plenty going on, so for people watchers it’s one of the prime positions. The name...More

We first walked into the Plaza in the early evening and it was very busy with a Beauty Queen pagent. Surrounded by bars and restaurants, as well as the streets leading off the square, you must be able to find a place to suit your...More

We loved visiting this vibrant, busy square at various times of the day. Not only is it beauthifully photogenic but it clearly is a meeting point for locals of all ages, eating and drinking in the many reasonably priced bars and restaurants, strolling around and...More

Variety of bars and restaurants. Most are cheaply priced and very good quality food. Pretty square, very busy but a lovely place to get an early table, eat, drink and sit back and just enjoy the surroundings. Great place for a lunch on a sunny...More

We love this square. Its good to sit in one of the bars near the fountain and watch the people mix. In years gone by our son loved chasing pigeons. Now we watch the next generation of kids running around and couples/families promenade. The bars...More

As dusk approaches, one can start seeing families fill up the cafes and bars around the Plaza. The fountains provide a refreshing distraction which could otherwise be a hot August afternoon. All the way to past midnight, you can see children frolicking and families having...More

This is a nice big plaza in the center of the city. There are a decent amount of shops around, though we visited on a Sunday and most place were closed. It's still a nice place to go for a walk and do some people...More

Great ambiance and excellent tapa bars. Casa Balbino, Casa Barbiana, y Casa Juanito. In the summer months visit after 20:30, otherwise expect high temperatures.

Nice fountain in the square , not grand and flashy but somehow authentic. One noticeable thing about the plaza was the number of Spanish families enjoying an evening out. Coming from the UK we found the restaurants to be keenly priced and serving good food.
