This is a charming and interesting building at one side of the San Roque square. The name “Nuestra Senora de los Desamparados” means our Lady of those without succour, the poor, the helpless, and it was initially set up to help the sick.
The outside of the building is carefully maintained, freshly whitewashed each year by the looks of it, with some interesting ceramic plaques. The inside also is worth a visit, with ornate pillars and some very interesting statues, including bronze angels on the ceiling as well as the normal religious images.

Cute little church located in the square surrounded by shops and restaurants. Very small church with free admission and worth sticking your head inside the door

A lovely little church close to the centre of the town, with some wonderful wooden carvings. The statues inside are very ornate, particularly for such a small church.
It is well worth a visit.
