This structure was a railway bridge across the docks in the last century. Now it is a poignant but attractive visitor attraction. Access & interpretation good. Boot from England

Thirty years ago the shipyard closed. This is its memorial. The town is still struggling to recover fully but it is trying so hard. A trip up the bridge makes you think.

Lovely place. Not touristy at all. a 'working' town wrapped around a beautiful marina. Good location to be able to visit the surrounding areas
