Hadn't booked a tour and there was nothing happening as holiday season but they very kindly opened the shop and talked us through the wines. Bought a couple and will I'm imbibe tonight!

Berlucchi has really nice sparking wines and friendly, helpful staff.

Like many wineries in this less-discovered corner of Italy, be sure to book a reservation and coordinate your tour in advance. They don’t do drop-ins, nor do they always have an English-language tour.

This winery is beautiful, the tour guide Nadia was great. The caves are great, nice wine tasting at the end.

We popped in and asked if we could do a tasting as we wanted to buy franciacorta. We had just had lunch at Due Colombe (a Michelin restaurant) so we were definitely dressed decently.
Three people were at reception and said they could not help us as we must do a tour. The next tour (in English) was only available two days later. We asked if we could pay and just do a tasting and were told no.

We are both great wine lovers and have a large collection from around the world. We have never been turned away at a winery before. As you can imagine we bought a substantial amount of Franciacorta elsewhere and also avoided Berlucchi during our stay!
Sorry Berlucchi, train your staff a little better as this is bad for marketing!

Dear Lesley, we are so sorry that your stopover at Berlucchi wasn’t what you expected. We strive to provide a pleasant tour and tasting experience to each and every guest. Unfortunately at the beginning of August we operated with reduced staff due to holidays, thus we scheduled English language tours only in the morning. We do hope to welcome you on your next tour to Franciacorta. Best regards, Berlucchi Hospitality Staff

The owner of our b and b told us to go here for a wine tasting. We arrived and it turned out that we needed a reservation and the English tour had already taken place. Fortunately the owner was listening to our pleas and allowed Denise, who spoke perfect English and has a masters degree to accomadate us. Corte Franca is in the heart of sparkling wine country, which is sparkling wine because legally it cannot be called champagne. This is one of if not the largest producers with 4 million bottles. Revived after the last war and expanded , the caves are extremely beautiful, spotlessly clean and provide an understanding of how the wine is made. At the end we were treated to a round of cheese and the best salami that I have ever had the pleasure of eating. There is a store on sight to purchase bottles. This is a magnificent property. I have been to many vineyards and this is a well organized tour and lovely tasting. Thank you to Christina who let us in, truly a highlight of my time in Lombardy. I love the customized art packaging! Congratulations on your rosee.

Visiting Berlucchi was a highlight of our trip to Italy. It is a beautiful location to visit and tour. Going into the cellar and seeing the beginning to the end of the process makes you appreciate the wine even more. Our private guide Arianna was the best! All the associates we so friendly and you can truly see they have the passion for their product.

Well worth the time and effort. Adults €15, teenagers free. Generous Franciacorta to drink with Regiano Pharm and local salami.

I usually don't enjoy winery tours (just prefer tasting). This tour was very informative. Tasting was also great. They served salumi and cheese with their fabulous sparkling wines and were very generous with their tasting.

Make sure to book your tasting tour in advance. We had an English speaking guide who was quite knowledgeable in all aspects of wine-making. The tour was very educational followed up by sampling of Berlucchi's Franciacorta sparkling wines.
