Wish I could give more stars, highlight of our Holliday to Sardinia. We were all beginners and wanted to learn to kite surf and there is not a spot as perfect as this, the teachers are really good (I recommend Michel)he got me boarding and doing a good 40/50 metres in 4 hours of lesson and was next to me the whole time to help. Camping is really cheap 5 euros a night per person, really cheap food but they do use to much plastic. An amazing stay.

Sardinia it was a beautiful place. We ate great, we were attended by very friendly people, we dived and snorkeled. Unfortunately we did not have a good experience in this "club". Context. With my idea of learning kitesurf and my girlfriend to take up the sport, we contacted KVS. We explained that we wanted to take a course for beginners and see if my girlfriend felt good to continue on her own. Leaving aside his policy of forcing people to be a member of the club (an elegant way to take people's money) the first day was fine. The teacher in charge, a Greek called Atalassio, was a very competent and professional person to share tricks and comments to learn (the reason we just rate as poor). My girlfriend feeling comfortable (despite not practicing kitesurfing 7 years ago), decided to rent the equipment for the next day. Here the surprise, the rental. My girlfriend (who had booked a kite the previous day) received a kite of 12 and prepared it. However, the so-called "manager" take the prepared equipment to give it to someone who took a course. After, she had to spend time preparing two other kites of smaller volume. In short, she lost her time preparing kites for others and not spending a good time in the water. Although these things can happen: lack of organization, not the best kite for the person, wind change, etc. The most frustrating was the aggressive and ordinary attitude of the "manager" Michele??, he wanted we pay the three hours. After some discussion, we got a "discount" from them. Thank you for that. In conclusion, the most important thing for KVS is to take money from tourists, so offer a terrible service to those who rent kitesurfs, being rude if one differs from the way they do things. Just to notice, while I was paying there was another "club member" also quite irritated for similar reasons. Solution. If you can not rent kites for people... easy, "do not rent". If you are not able to be within the time schedules to make a lesson... then, "do not book". Failure to perform a service and collect the money is considered illegal. Sadly, if we considered that they have so many "club members" daily and because many are foreigners/tourists that what to pass a good time, it is easy to understand why they do not care. My personal recommendation, go with kite generation, apparently, you will pay more but you will be able to use the equipment and pass a good time in the lovely Sardinia, from Switzerland, Cheers

Dear Eric, this is Michele writing you. As you know I am the beach manager of KVS. I want to apologize and explain to you how things really went. I have assisted your girlfriend from the process of kite-setup to launch and landing as I regularly do for all rentals. Unfortunately the kite had a problem to the inflating valve. We were not aware of the problem and we don’t know how it might have happened since it was working perfectly the day before. In any case when your girlfriend came to tell me about the issue I decided to change the kite with a different one of smaller size, because the wind was picking up. This last choice was unfortunately miscalculated because the wind did not pick up as much as I thought it would and I had to change the kite back with a bigger one. In the process I always tried to provide the best assistance and fastest service, offering a kite that was already inflated and ready to fly. Finally your girlfriend got in the water and instead of 3 hours she ended up kiting for 2 hours with the right equipment. Because of this inconvenience at the end of her session we talked and agreed on a discount on the total price of the rental. The day after I received an SMS message from you, complaining about the quality of the service received. I promptly answered and apologized, clearly explaining the situation but I never received any reply from you. Instead I kept reading your complaints on various social networks. Here at KVS we are committed to offer our clients the highest quality service possible. Weather conditions are impossible to predict with 100% accuracy but we try our best. We are aware of the fact that things might not always go as planned and mistakes may happen. The problem your girlfriend experienced has been dealt with and solved by offering her a discount on the price of rental and a personal apology. You never gave us a chance to make things better for you. Your lack of communication and tough behavior seemed to me a little extreme. Maybe you were just having a bad day… About the membership price, we are sorry you did not understand the benefits this gives you. Just for the sake of clarity, I will list these benefits again: for 15 euros you get for the whole season: 1. third-party liability insurance mandatory to safely practice the sport of kitesurfing. 2. a free boat-rescue, performed with our own dedicated boat. 3. free use of the storage place and equipment cleaning/washing facilities. 4. deck chairs on the beach and beach manager assistance 5. club access with wifi, bar, bathrooms, changing rooms and relax/hang-out areas. Lastly, I want to say that August is the busiest month of the year for us, so despite our best efforts something may escape our attention. We always take responsibility for any mistake we make and strive to provide the best service to all our clients. I wish you luck and I look forward to seeing you again in Sardinia for a new holiday and maybe, we will shake hands and spend a pleasant day of wind at our center!!! Many greetings Michele and the whole KVS team

Awesome holiday's trip with friends, nice Italian people, beautiful country and nice rock for climbing ... And Punta trettu...The drama...the worst experiencend customer welcome i have ever live. I'm a mountain guide. It was my first kite surfing day with my best friends who has a very good level. He was learning to me. One man, who didn't have a good level in kite surfing, came nere us and tell us to leave because this place were not safe. He came twice and wasn't very kind. My friend told me he were wrong and this place was very safe for training. At the end of the day, we went to the camping . A woman welcomed us. she absolutely wanted to sell us an insurance and a club mumbership for kite surfing here, more than sleeping payment. 15€ / person we hardly managed to avoid paying. Then, a man of the camping accosted me aggressively. "Are you the man who was learning kite surfing in punta trettu just now ?" "Don't do kite surfing here it's not safe" i asked why ... there were 10 other men kite surfing here. " Tomorrow we don't want to see you and your friends anymore " I was very surprised and didn't understood right away... "your friend can't learn you kite surfing he his not a kite surfing instructor" ??? so, a man is not allowed to give sport lessons to a friend??? why ??? a second man came, he were very agressive against me too. i tried to speak with them kindly but no way, they just repeat "don't come again on this site tomorrow" they talk me like a dog. We just wanted to have a nice night in there campsite, we would have drunk beer quietly in the evening ...we would have pay for night and for food ; we fled quickly this bad place ! Start with a minimum of education it does not hurt, then learn to greet customers properly, you will benefit more! I'm sorry you do not have as much work as you would like, but that's not our fault . Let us practice our activity with friend, we are in our right and are not subject to your illegitimate local laws ! The day after, we went to Fontanamare...very good kite surfing spot and very good spirit here !

Exactly because we don’t like drama, we tried to stop you and prevented it. In the kite surf world there are many rules to guarantee the safety and the life of the riders and the people around them, therefore if anybody wants to teach kite surf must be an qualified instructor , be insured and get properly gear for the lessons. -In that day with 30+ knots while the school stopped the lessons and rose the red flag on the beach, he started his first lesson with a friend of unknow level and certification, doing “power body drag “ with an old kite and full length lines upwind to the threes and obstacles in off shore wind, without rescue boat and really shallow water(maximum 30 cm),If anyone knows something about kite surf, could understand the high risks of these situations. -Than speak about our facilities: if you would join our club it’s 15 euro for the whole YEAR with:free rescue boat and kite-storage plus access to our private bar and camping area . You weren't really kind speaking so bad about our job,out beyond the respect for the rules there is the respect for the people and specially for the job ,no matter what it is! We are responsible of that spot and we don’t accept someone who plays with the safety and the life of the people that instead have chosen to respect the rules!
