We didn’t expect to find a vineyard but why not? Worth the $10 ride to see the view and gardens. We didn’t rate the wine but you can taste 4 wines for $3. Bottles expensive!

The estate only serves wine tasting and there isn’t much to see at the vineyard. Not very well kept. The wine... all had this chemical taste to it except for the Muscat. Wouldn’t visit again or recommend.

If you have some time you can get this nice experience. Place is very charming, nice territory and absolutely stunning sunset. You can have a wine tasting ( 4 different wines). I should notice that Myanmar isn't wine country and I didn't enjoy wine too...More

You don’t expect wines in this country so it makes for a change to visit wineyards. Wine tasting was interesting although to be honest i enjoyed the view much more than the wines

I enjoyed visiting this vineyard and doing a wine tasting. Unfortunately we went there around 5.00 and did not have very much time to go to the wine store because it closed at 6 p.m, but we enjoyed the wine tasting for a very reasonable...More

This is close to a tourist trap, where they are really only interested in getting you in and out, quickly placing some quite unpleasant wines in front of you. This was a complete contrast to the Aythaya Winery, which is a little further away than...More

On 30th January, 2019, I finally made it. It took me even about 7 years to come here just because I can enjoy “Red Mountain Estate Wines” in my hometown Mandalay. But it was worth both the money and the time. With the restaurant overlooking...More

Go for the experience (and at 5000kyat for the wine tasting bits good value) and the views. The white wines were actually not bad, the Muscat quite nice. The red wines however were barely drinkable. Nice experience though

The view is worth a visit, the rest is quite poor. We only tried two kinds of wine - both had a bad taste. Bad quality food, tasteless. Plus the service also poor, careless, unattentive staff...

Went here one evening to drink a wine and watch the sunset. It is a really nice place to see the sunset over Inle Lake while enjoying a wine. I tried a medium-sweet white wine and it was quite good. I heard from other people...More

Not quite sure, but someone told me it closes right after sunset. I went during the day.

It's well signposted off the road. But care needed to ensure you don't miss the sign, especially if you have been wine tasting at Red Mountain beforehand. :-)

1. Booking in advance is not really necessary. 2. I do not know how much it would cost to take a cab. My random estimate is it could not be more than Kyats 5,000 (less than US$ 5) from downtown Nayung Shwe (Yawnghwe... More
