The building is covered all over by scallop shells, impressively done. If you visit Isle de la Toja; this is the one and only place to visit, besides casino and beaches.

The scallop shell covered exterior is interesting and the church is pretty but it does not take long to visit

Unique and definitely worth a stop if you're in this area - the church is entirely covered in scallop shells, such as are the symbol for the Camino de Santiago

I didn't get a chance to go in but it was beautiful from the outside, even in the rain. I would go again to look inside. Beautiful pavements around the area.

Small but attractive church all covered outside with seashells. Probably you will need 15-20 minutes maximum to see it, but the impressions will last the rest of your life.

The church exterior walls are covered in shells which makes it very unusual. The interior is worth a look.

This is a little church covered in shells, really is something interesting to see. The one thing I didn't like was that people have graffitied on the shells :(

If visiting O Grove there is a bridge connecting La Toja where the main attraction, apart from the expensive hotels and villas, is the Ermita de San Sebastian made with white shells. Good photo opportunities! Parking could be a challenge during busy times and a...More
