Easy day trip by train from Dijon. We arrived in Beaune, traipsed about old town, picked up some sandwiches for lunch in the park, then took a quick taxi to Veuve Ambal for an afternoon tour of the bottling facility. No vineyard on this tour....More

Instead of all the wine tastings in France and beaune this is a refreshing tour of the making of the crement the bourgonge. The factory is massive and impressive. The tasting afterwards is very nice! Worth the visit!

Enjoyable tour with an audio guide above the factory floor (all automated and very impressive) followed by a tasting of the bubbles with a friendly host. Highly recommend for something a little different and good value for 6 euro pp (through the tourist office website).
