About
Domaine Laroche is directly linked to the history of Chablis. Domaine Laroche owns 90 hectares of vineyard situated amongst the best crus. Its headquarters, the Obediencerie of Chablis, reveals a heritage dating back from the Middle Ages when the Canons of Saint Martin of Tours were making wine. Saint Martin’s relics were hidden in the Obediencerie for a decade. This exceptional testimony is very much alive: Domaine laroche still elaborates and ages its Premiers and Grands Crus in these historical cellars. Its wines are a testimony of 1000 years of history!

The tour was worth every penny and so was the wine. Régis was informative. I am not a big white wine drinker but i have to say there is nothing like Burgundy white wine. They arecall good.Domaine Laroche doesn't disappoint. The history of Domaine Laroche is fascinating. If you can do only one stop in Chablis, choose Domaine Laroche. You will love it. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Domaine Laroche is a fantastic wine producer with excellent wines to taste and buy. I booked the tour with tasting for myself and my wife. Our 7 years old daughter came with us and she was very entertained by our host Regis (amazing guy) and the history of Domaine Laroche. Definitely a must go in Chablis. We fill extremely welcomed and their building is really beautiful. If you come by car like us, the are some free car parks just close to the Boutique where the tour starts and ends! Thanks Regis for this brilliant experience!

The staff here are wonderful and so friendly and helpful. The food is top notch. The scallops were simply amazing and some of the best we have had. Delightful wine! Definately recommended for a gastronomical lunch.
The surrounds are beautiful too. What better way to spend a couple of hours eating amazing food and drinking delicious wine.

At the beginning of our wine experience in the Bourgogne, we went to Domaine Laroche for an integrated experience - cellar tour, wine tasting and lunch at the michelin star restaurant Au Fils du Zinc. They held up the start of the tour for almost 30 minutes, leaving us waiting in the reception area, as another couple would be late. This was exceptionally rude, and a very poor choice on their part.

The cellar tour was OK, and the tasting was OK. However, the 30 minute delay caused us to have to wrap up the tasting early and rush to the lunch.

For lunch, we were shunted to another restaurant, Les Trois Bourgeons as Au Fils du Zinc had no capacity. My issue was that I booked this in March, so they had ample time to reserve on our behalf. They said that they had the right to put us into either restaurant, but this was not specified on the package I purchased. As this was booked through RDV (Rue Des Vignerons), each ended up blaming the other party.

As we had already booked Les Trois Bourgeons for lunch later in the week, we had to cancel that and then hopefully book Au Fils du Zinc ourselves before we left Chablis.

What really irked me however, was that I did the math on the package. The original offer differentiated the tasting we would receive (for buying the wine tasting with the lunch) from the basic tasting that others would receive - we would get to taste the top wines of the domaine, while the other package would not. Yet, the other couples in the tour paid for the basic tasting, and got the *same* wines as we got. In the end, I paid an additional 60 euros over what I would have paid if had I arranged everything myself.

This was the worst gouging by a winery ... ever.

Thanks to Regis for a great 90mins being shown around the wonderful premises and cellars of Domaine Laroche.

We were lucky to get a slot right before the harvest and we saw some of the early fermentation taking place.

Amazing cellars, and celebrating dating back 1700 years this wine house tour really ticked our box.

The location is suitable for big groups, the tasti g is in a very beautifull house with high ceiling and a beautifull grape press from 12th century. We tasted 5 whines but did not buy any. Don t miss aving a view on the small river which you can scout for on your rightwhen getting towards the tasting site

Really enjoyed the wine tasting at Domaine Laroche's boutique. Our guide was very knowledge about the tasting experience and offered several high quality options.

While we can't compare to other domaines in Chablis, the visit of the vineyards and cellars left something to be desired. That said, all was professional and nicely done. A good option if short on time.

We wanted to visite their cellar but there was an event planned that day and we could not so we went to thier boutique on rue Auxerroise and had a nice free tasting with 4 wines that give a good gradation of quality. The hostess was friendly and knowledgeable.

You haven't seen Chablis without having made the little cellar tour at Domaine Laroche. While not overly informative it shows you the backstreets of Chablis and its underground world as well as the history of the Domaine. This was followed by a free tasting of 4-5 fines. The Chablis Villages is for me to the reference villages of the appellation and the Grand Cru Blanchots is standing out among its peers, as well. Unfortunately the vertical tasting was not available which would have made this an even more unforgettable experience.
