Not that impressive, just a lack cliff so if you don't have a guide to understand what you are looking at you would probably not even notice them!!

The town is most famed because the cliffs with fossils. I was curious to check the reviews of other travelers, so I was a little excited when, without much effort, I also found several large rock blocks with fossils. And my children were also interested,...More

Great fun on a grey day with mixed group family. Teenagers and half heights both delighted in scouring the beaches and picked up loads of little fossils.

We went fossil hunting as a family (kids aged 8, 7 and 4), and had an absolutely wonderful time. Though we didn't find anything spectacular, we did pick up dozens of fossils. Highly recommended - we will return.

Loved walking the beach hunting for fossils! We were sceptical but had found a bucket-full in just a short time! A lovely long, quiet beach anyway, but even more fun when you're looking for dinosaurs...
