The château is a good place to purchase or show work from local crafts people. The setting in an eighteenth century château in the middle of the town is attractive. Nice garden with lovely view over the valley and upper town.

We have been to the Chateau de Nontron a couple of times. Each time there has been a different art exposition which has been very interesting. There is a small shop attached that sells rather nice local craft gifts.
