I discovered this museum on tripadvisor before our family holiday and made a point of finding it when we visited Benalmadena in April 14. The shop is a delight filled with retro second hand Barbie items to buy but it is the museum that steals the show! My daughter and I are huge Barbie fans and found ourselves in an Aladdin's cave of beautifully displayed dolls. There are over 600 to see. The entrance fee was very small at 1.50 Euros and worth every cent. If you or your family members love Barbies, you will love this as we did. What an absolute gem!
Una experiencia maravillosa para cualquier fan de Barbie!

This is a bit of fun for I am sure no more that a couple of euros, we have never seen such a varied selection of Barbie dolls there is also a small toy shop with a varied selection of different toys. If you are in Arroyo it is worth a visit.

Wasted time tracking this place down for my wife . She wanted to take photos for our granddaughters . It should be taken off websites instead of wasting time. Would have been disappointing for children

We came here as it was something that one of our party wanted to do. On arrival I thought it was just like an old bric a brac store. They did have a variety of barbies in different outfits but the prices on those were way higher than I’d be prepared to spend

Went to visit on our family holiday with 5 small kids and they absolutely loved it. Got to purchase some lovely new Barbie and ken dolls along with some other really cool items (toy story, Harry Potter). Would have bought more only we wouldnt have fit in our suitcases. Kids really loved it. Will definitely visit again on our next trip to Spain

Very nice collection of fashion dolls. It won't take you too long to look around but it only costs E1.50 so there is nothing to lose. It's open 5.30-8 Monday to Friday. It is in walking distance of Tivoi World and the cable cars if you are in the area to visit them. There is also a shop which sells toys and lots of collectable figures.

The missus wanted to go in! It was a very weird experience to see thousands of Barbie dolls in a room staring at you. However, it must be what the local kids are into. Random!

We came across this museum whilst strolling along the streets of Benalmadena. Being a huge Barbie fan (and also sharing the name of Ruth Handler's greatest creation), it was a must that we should take a visit. Cheap enough to view the collection, and a lovely little shop to buy collectables from the 1970s onwards, I absolutely loved it. The collection was open on an evening, so if you're planning to visit, that's the time to go. It is a very short walk from the Renfe train station.

Yes, it is suitable for Barbie fans of all ages. There is a shop at the entrance to the museum where you can buy a variety of items. There is a Barbie chair in a setting in the museum where you can have your photo taken. The museum is small, but there is plenty to see and the admission charge is very reasonable. It is very low-key, with no pressure, and run by a true enthusiast. Check the opening times before you go.
