The experience was not at all worth it. Even chocolate was not great. The chocolate making factory was closed. So we literally just had 3-4 type of chocolates in tasting menu and paid CHF 15. Would never recommend.

Want Swiss chocolate? this Bruch maybe a cost effective way to do it. Tons of truffles and chocolate on the, buffet which is all you can eat. It includes a chocolate fountain. You can order egg and Rösti. So much chocolate. Dog friendly but, in good weather. Dog are welcome outside they even have a Hütte for the dogs outside. But if the weather is such you cannot sit outside then you cannot go with the pooch. But staff was nice they even called to tell us there was expected bad weather so we might not be able to go with the dog. Oh and I didn't realize it is pronounced roooooosti. (Rösti is swiss hash browns)

I've spent a wonderful day with my family altogether. I totally enjoyed every stage of the tour. You can taste delicious types of chocolates and learn a lot about their process. Even you can make your own chocolate bar. Their staff is super friendly and helpful!!!

For me it's a Chocolate Disney world!! I really recommend to visit this amazin place.

We took the tour and it contained some fun facts and tooks us on a journey in chocolate making. However the best thing about the tour was tasting the products, amazing! We made our own chocolate bar and I suggest you do the same!

We were in Lucerne as part of our honeymoon and thought it would be fun to do a chocolate factory tour. This factory is a very easy 10min train ride out of Lucerne and was one of the best parts of our whole trip!

We made a reservation the night before but due to the train schedule showed up 30min early for our ‘tour’ and assumed we’d have to wait but were told to go right in. It was a self-guided tour and we ended up having the entire place to ourselves!

As you walk through you can read about the chocolate making process and watch short videos. There are big windows that look down into the chocolate factory where we saw all sorts of chocolate being made or packaged. And, best of all, throughout the tour there was plenty of chocolate samples you can try.

For an extra 10chf each you can make your own chocolate bar and it was completely worth it! I assumed at that price we’d be making a tiny bar of chocolate but it was huge! And the woman who helped us was simply delightful!!

(FYI, "Making Chocolate" meant milk or dark chocolate was poured into a flat mold and then you can decorate it with a variety of different candies, nuts, or fruit. Then it’s cooled and packaged for you to take home.)

*Other perks – each visitor gets a 5chf voucher to use at the large chocolate shop. And when we went downstairs to check out the store we were offered more free chocolate!

This was a fun trip for us, a family with two young kids, 3 years and 10 months old. The place was built in 2012, very beautiful space with restaurant, shop and tour-exhibition. Kids can touch, try and see all things about chocolate. The exhibition area has many nice chocolate tasting spots, where you can taste dark, milk or white chocolate, as well as liquid chocolate, you can add tasty ingredients at your choice, like nuts, crisps, dry fruits, etc. In in end you feel that you have tasted really a lot, and this chocolate tastes really great! The presentation of these tasting spots is nice as well. The greatest thing for kids was the opportunity to create your own chocolate, and then to choose how you want to decorate it. There is a stand with the variety of dry fruits, nuts, etc. that kids can use. Then your chocolate bar goes to the transparent oven and in about 5 min you can already wrap it. Our kids were very proud! The food at the restaurant was tasty as well. You can use a discount coupon for food or shop purchased along with your ticket. For moms with small kids - the bathroom area has a cozy separate room to change your baby, there is hot water. There is a lot of parking space just near the house. I would highly recommend this place if you search for a nice place to bring your kids in a rainy day. Thanks to the creators!

The Aeschbach factory has a cafe, chocolate shop and a self guided tour. You can opt to make your own chocolate bar - there are lots of free samples in the factory tour, but this is a fun option and enjoyable for our small people and guests. Staff were friendly and it was interesting to see people working as we toured. Better than other similar tours we’ve done in the area.

Aeschbach Chocolatier is a Swiss Chocolate manufacturer that also offers visitors to admire its Choco World where they can learn about how chocolate is processed, created and pressed and at its Choco Studio they can even fashion their own pralines. There also is a Choco Store where visitors can buy all kinds of chocolates made by Aeschbach Chocolatier and a Choso Café to have some refreshments!

The Choco World inside the Aeschbach Chocolatier is a must visit for family with children! My young children loved it! The Choco World is a small chocolate journey educational and fun museum to talk you through the growing, harvesting, transporting and making of chocolate. There are many chocolate machines and game point along the walk through where you can eat yummy chocolate coins, make a cup of chocolate with toppings and see the chocolate factory. At the end of the journey, you can make your very own big bar of chocolate. You can decorate it with all kinds of toppings and for bigger children or adults even make a picture on the chocolate bar if you desire. You will then send it through to the cooling channel and watch your chocolate bar hardens ready for you to take home! Fantastic experience!

Although a few reviews thought it was a place for families with kids (and it would be great for them), my wife and I found it fascinating as well. The staff was very friendly and helpful in explaining processes, but not intrusive if you just wanted to learn the intricacies of chocolate making from the displays. The setup was such that as you went from display to display, you could look out to the lower floor and watch the workers preparing the chocolates, from cutting to size, putting eyes into forms for various animal shapes, to wrapping the final products. The most helpful person there was one lady, who I believe was from Sicily. But everyone seemed to go out of their way to make it a pleasant visit! Oh, and did I mention the great chocolate we sampled along the way? Yes, it was very, very good!
