We staied one day with our two kids.
This is a very nice place with a nice view, clean water and clean facilities.
There is also a playground for kids, a beach volley court, a public bbq, a restaurant with a very big variety of food, salads, meat, sandwiches etc. There is also a shop for self catering.

The entrance is CHF 4.50 and there are places for the car (pay extra, reasonable price).
There was also a bath attendant and you can rent a pedalo.

Walked from the hotel not to far to reach. Enjoyed meeting grandchild to play in the parks by the water. Many other walks along lake to visit villages nearby and able to enjoy beautiful autumn forest walks

We stayed at a camp site near the lake while passing Switzerland in our way to Italy. The TCS camping was sort of OK for one night but very expensive and with small camp site places. It's location near the lake is the only advantage.

Enjoyed our first visit to Seebad Sempach today!! My kids and I all had a great time. Facilities were very good. Expansive grassy area with lots of trees to set yourself up on. Shade and Sun both available. Great Sandy beach area. Water has gentle incline which was great for my smaller kids. Loved the diving platform. Different things for hire ( paddle boats with slides etc.) Cost was very reasonable and facilities were clean. Crowd was good. Didn't witness any behaviour that wouldn't be conducive to a family outing. Lots of older kids playing beach volleyball. Went over to the restaurant/Play park in th eearly evening. Self catering and prices were very reasonable with a fairly good selection as well. We are Canadians living in Switzerland and would definately recommend this Beach. We stayed for about 7 hours. View was awesome as well. :)

If you plan to rent a boat, this is not a correct place... few boats, long waiting times and unfriendly (rude!) staff.

This is a large flat grassy area with sandy beach and shade trees. Superb view over the long side of the Lake of Sempach. On hot summer days during the holidays and on weekends it can get rather crowded, but it is particularly well suited for families with smaller children. Right next to it is one of the fine TCS camp grounds that is also attractive for passing tourists on their north-south route through Switzerland. And between the beach and the camping, there is a well run restaurant.

This place is beautiful! We went on a very hot day (about 32 degrees) and there were lots of people but it wasn't overcrowded. Lots of families too. The water was refreshing and clean (this is Switzerland) and the kids (and adults)had a lovely day out. It was about a 10 minutes walk from where we parked, and dogs were welcome even though it seemed ours was the only one.
There was live music, a beach volley ball court, restaurants to and clean toilets.
Great atmosphere and a fab day out!
You might want to take a picnic as food is quite pricy. 5.50 Chf for a small portion of chips.
