Fun place to see several Swiss landmarks all in one place. Perfect for kids but also for newcomers to Switzerland like us. Staff puts lots of work into the detailed miniatures, well done. Fun fact: entrance on birthdays is free, just show an ID.

I definitely recommend this for adults also (not only for kids). It is a nice place, an outdoor museum - big, nice and clean- and green. All the miniatures and the landscape created are amazing.Very well made, painstakingly worked.Take your time to see it ! it worth ! There are, beside historical and famous buildings, also landscape of different activities... More

We were in the Lugano area and saw this on TripAdvisor, so decided to check it out. Our kids (7 and 5) loved it! Their is great detail in the models with many moving parts, interactions, making you think you are looking at villages in action. Also, they had a bubbles demonstration, which the kids ABSOLUTELY loved. Between that and... More

Located at about 8 Km driving distance from Lugano through very accessible roads. It is nice to visit but you can save your time if your itinerary is already packed out. The adult ticket costs CHF 19, which I find a bit over priced similar to the entry fees to the vast majority of Swiss tourist attractions. The park is... More

Before my trip to Switzerland and Italy I was scrolling online and came across the Swissminiatur exhibit and put it on my to do list. I went with friends and we had such a great time. I was in awe of the amount of accuracy and detail they but into each miniature. It was easy to navigate and beautiful to... More

My wife and I visited Lugano on an overcast, rainy weekend. Our hotel package include the entrance fee to the Swissminiatur. If not for that we probably wouldn't have gone there, but we were very pleasantly surprised. This place is definitely worth a visit! The detail of the models, all the moving parts and variety of things to see were... More

This place was smaller than I expected but perfect to get around with small children. The tiny replicas of significant buildings, structures and places of interest in Switzerland were fascinating. Really a true work of precision and artistry. The kids loved the mini train that took them around the park and the bumper cars. Of course they were dying to... More

Looking for things to do near Lugano, saw this listing and decided to spend an afternoon -- in truth, we walked in and thought it was going to be a very short visit, but in the end the detail kept us marveling at each and every separate piece (there are more than 170 separate models!). The food was very good,... More
