My boyfriend and I had a trip planned for Italy with a stop in Abruzzo which was the home to my great grandparents before we visited the states.
Emidio and Elif were incredible as they took us through the small town of Ateleta. We visited the cemetery, spoke with the town registrar and learned about the towns history.
Through the persistence of both Emidio and Elif we were able to find and speak
to a cousin which was truly amazing. We definitely wouldn’t have been able to do this without them with our extremely limited Italian.
The only thing I wish we’d done is plan more time to stay in the region so we could go back and spend more time with the family we met.
We could not recommend a tour with them enough!

My husband and I planned a trip to Sulmona for September and hired Emidio and his wife Elif to do research on my mother’s family who were born in Abruzzo region. We were amazed at the information Emidio found and all the hard work that went into planning a tour for us. We met Emidio and Elif in the morning and they took us to the Sulmona Town Hall to show us birth and death records of my grandparents, great grandparents and great great grandparents. We proceeded to tour the village of Cavate and a tiny church that my ancestors prayed in. After this we walked the streets of the little town of Introdacqua where Emidio had discovered was the birthplace of several of my relatives. Elif, a professional photographer, documented the entire tour so that we will have pictures to remember this day. Not only did Emidio provide us with valuable family information, he also is knowledgeable about the history of the area. It was such a fun day for us to be able to visit places where my ancestors lived and worked. Emidio and his wife Elif are a great team and personalized our tour. This day exceeded our expectations and we are grateful to them for making it so special for us. We highly recommend Emidio for any genealogy project!

Emidio Spinogatti was given a very short time before our trip for ancestry research but his results were amazing! More than 70 new ancestors were identified going back to 1700's. We cannot thank him enough for all of his hard work and detailed reports. We are still in touch and hope to continue to use him for additional research.

Abruzzo Geneaology (Emidio) did a fantastic job tracking down hard to find family history! Emidio was determined and thorough with very little to go on. He not only found documentation, but arranged a wonderful trip through the region so that we could see where our great grandparents were born, married, where they would have spent their time and experienced their regional food and wine!!! It was an amazing experience and we were so grateful to Emidio and all his hard work. We look forward to working with him in the future to try to find some relatives!

I can't say enough about my experience with AG. Emidio provided amazing research on my grandmother's family and home town. What's more, he and Elif were the perfect guides during our visit to the area. I'd always dreamed I would walk the streets of my grandmother's village, step into her church, take in the views. To experience her life and our family history in that way was a dream come true. I will be forever grateful to them for making this dream a reality.
