Dopo moltissime volte che siamo stati a Bucchianico finalmente siamo riusciti a visitare la casa del Santo grazie ad una gentilissima signora che aveva le chiavi e quindi probabilmente fungeva da custode. Tutto è rimasto fermo nel tempo ed è stato commovente,avrei voluto fare qualche foto ma mi è sembrato di profanare il luogo, però né ho fatte alcune al paese e le pubblico.

Assolutamente da visitare, un luogo sacro accogliente e sempre ben tenuto. Gli affreschi della cappellina sono meravigliosi ma poter ammirare la vera casa di San Camillo davvero non ha prezzo! Da sottolineare che non si paga nulla

Dopo tanti anni finalmente mi sono decisa in compagnia di un'amica che era venuta a trovarmi, a fare un giro per Bucchianico. Suggestiva la casa Natale di San Camillo, dove oltre a presepi provenienti da varie parti del mondo, viene conservata la famosa (almeno in Abruzzo) pantofola del Santo, che aiuta la guarigione e a questo scopo viene talora concessa per essere portata dai malati gravi. Il paese gode poi di una vista fantastica, merita una tappa
