This garden was suggested by a friend. We've visited many gardens but this rates in the top five. The layout was very calm & classic but with a twist, the variety of plants great, everything looked so thoughtfully placed,it all looked so cherished. Looking forward to future visits & no hesitation about recommending it.

We visited the gardens in July, when the herbaceous borders were in full bloom. Gardens are beautifully kept and a haven of peace. Not over crowded and a pleasure to stroll around. There is a car park in a field opposite the garden and entrance is through an impressive Tithe Barn. This is certainly not a tourist trap - providing... More

We visited this garden with the local Horticultural Society and found it well laid out and beautifully tended. Every plant looked in prime condition and luckily most were in bloom. Having visited many other gardens can honestly say it was the best. Enjoyed refreshments from friendly staff too.

This is a very pleasant garden with different areas to visit. The planting was well laid out. One area reminded us of a mini RHS Wisley area. We had lunch in the beautiful tythe barn. All the staff were welcoming and helpful.

It's many years since I visited. The gardens are superb and the planting a credit to them all. We spent several hours enjoying the gardens and had a delicious light lunch. The staff were delightful. The barn is particularly special and we will be back.

This garden was made and is kept with a lot of love and care. A very enjoyable place to sit and walk around. Would recommend bringing a book in order to sit and enjoy its serenity.

This has to be the loveliest garden I have ever seen, even better than Hidcote, Sezincote and Kiftsgate - the other wonderful gardens in this area. The topiary is amazing and the planting is inspired. All beautifully maintained in a lovely area of the Cotwolds. Friendly staff serve light meals in the historic and beautiful ancient tythe barn or in... More

Bourton House Garden is beautiful, made up of various contrasting, but all equally attractive, parts. The topiary hedges are especially note worthy, as are the many unusual plants and the carefully planned colour combinations. We received a warm welcome to the garden and enjoyed a simple sandwich lunch in the sunshine, outside the amazing ancient tithe barn. Very well worth... More
