Most beautiful sunset ever!
Jul 2018 • Family
Enjoy the most beautiful sunset in an historic castle known as the Hercules Temple. When the tide is low you can even walk and visit the castle.

Boat trip to island near Chiclana (Cádiz)
Jul 2018 • Couples
THe island allows beautiful views of the nearby coast. The boat was very small (9 passengers on ours) and I was glad it only took 10 minutes as the sea was quite choppy. If I went again I`d look for a bigger boat (not sure if bigger boat which tours from Sancti Petri goes to the island). I was surprised thjat we were not given lifejackets. The guided tour was interesting but the guide spoke very quickly, determined to give a lot of information in a short time.

A history lesson
Sep 2015 • Couples
We didn't expect to find this Castillo so interesting but it really was.

We took a boat from el pueblo de Sancti Petri and took us around 15min to get there. Make sure you get the right boat from the company you get tickets from as there were other boats taking people there and can get a but confusing.

Once we got to the islote a guide took us around the castle and told us a lot about the history of the place. He was excellent but be aware the whole thing was in Spanish and also you have to pay the entrance separately from the boat.

Don't buy drinks at the little bar as they can be a bit pricy.

The experience was totally worth it but if you don't understand Spanish you might miss out.

Take the organised sunset tour from Sancti petri old port , 12 euro per adult 7 per child
About an hour trip round the port and to the castle
Great photo opportunities of the beach , castle , port at sunset
Safe , comfortable boat , nice way to pass an hour then back to one of the beach bars
George's is worth a visit
About the second bar along from Barossa end , good drinks , friendly service music and impromptu dancing !!

Beautiful
May 2015 • Couples
Get a kayak, a bottle of wine and two glasses and that's all you need to have a nice and even romantic time with your partner watching the sunset. Try to get back before it's dark...

good boat trip
Jul 2015 • Family
Safe and comfortable boat from a convenient location.
Trip out to sea was limited by a heavy swell so second half of trip up the estuary by the nature conservation area. Plenty of birdlife to see.

Nice place to go by kayak from Sancti Petri
Jan 2015 • Couples
Be careful in very windy days. The views from the castle are fantastic. Better going by kayak than by swimming.

nice visit in the castle
Sep 2014 • Couples
nothing really special to be seen or done, but in the ambiance all seems to be very likeble and charming. So on a day with a little bit less sun it is a good way to spend the day in a different way!
