The cave itself is not big. The tour takes 30 minutes and it is a very light walk. Our guide was so good that we even forget that the cave is only average. The guide made our rating to good.

In walking distance from Lillafured, the St. Stephen Cave offers a nice tour. Guided tours usually start on the hour, and last about 30-40 minutes. Nice stalactite formations. The cave is very cold!

Loved the bats in the cave and the story of the dog. Also the tour guide was very knowledgeable and patient. Took time to take pictures for us when we needed it.

The cave is not an enormous one, but very interesting and spectacular even for those who are not experts in the stalactite-stalagmite world...

The cave has some stunning rooms, it's quite old. Good to just join a guided tour and look in advance for the schedule. Very healthy to visit and magical.

The guide was very professional, the stalactites were beautiful. However, the cave is not that big, it is still enough for a good preview for cave discoveries.
The paths are well built inside, so it is easy to move around.
I recommend this cave to anybody who visits Lillafüred.

We just turned up to the cave as it was 10 mins walk from our hotel. Tours are on the hour every hour, not sure how to get an English tour, maybe book in advance? We had the Hungarian tour, didn't understand a word, but the caves are sooo amazing and awesome that we just loved looking at all the different formations. Bit chilly, wear a jacket. They have proper paths and steps so it's easy on the foot.

The tour guide is professional, tell the story of the discovery of the cave as well as the important facts about the stones. The air is clear, and also used for medical purposes.

Small cave, easy tour but it is worth the small amount what they ask for entry tickets. Make sure to check the opening hours and the tour start times before you visit.
