Movis Private Tours is a boutique travel agency founded to serve the needs of individual travelers and small groups. We are specialized in private individual travel creating ultimate travel experience and tailor made tour upon our clients expectations and wishes. Movis Private Tours believes in traveling as a way of discovering, understanding and learning about the world we are visiting. We believe that you will experience and acquaint the region with its local traditions, culture and everyday life much better on a private tour, than you would on your own, or with a big group of tourists. We provide private tours especially in Slovenia and Croatia which are our “base” countries, but in addition we provide private tours in combination (or individually) also in Bosnia&Herzegovina, Montenegro, Serbia, Macedonia, Albania, Italy (North), Austria, Czech Republic, Hungary, South Germany, Switzerland and Slovakia as well.

We were planning a trip and needed to get from Padova to Budapest. We decided we would like to spend a few days in Slovenia on the way, as we had never been there. Rok produced a customised itinerary that was perfect for us. Communication and service were faultless, and the week we spent in Slovenia with our Guide Žiga proved to be a highlight of our holiday. A beautiful country, comfortable hotels, most with attractive views and a friendly and knowledgeable guide made for an excellent travel experience. We saw so much in a few days, but never felt rushed. The Skocjan Caves, Piran, Vintgar Gorge and the beautiful Lake Bled were particular highlights but everything was wonderful. I would happily travel with Movis again, perhaps Bosnia and Croatia are calling sometime in the future? Thank you Rok and Žiga

Our trip isn't for several months, but I had to start now with a glowing review of this company's customer service in setting up our tour. Rok is a true professional -- knowledgeable, responsive, courteous, detailed... I honestly can't say enough. As we were planning our trip over several months, he was so helpful and patient as we asked many questions. Now that we've booked our trip for later this year, he and Jure have provided wonderful detailed plans that make the anticipation even better. They have thought of everything. I will update my review after our trip, but if you are looking for a tour operator, I highly recommend you contact Movis!

Our trip to Croatia was drafted, and finalized within 4 months,..I can not say enough about Rok ....patient as we asked so many questions, a true professional -- knowledgeable, responsive, courteous, detailed... We gave him a few ideas of what we thought we wanted to see, and with his expertise he immediately responded and helped us fine tune even the smallest details from driver, transfers, tours, types of hotels. His final itinerary, vouchers road maps, so meticulous! I recommend Rok and MOVIS with a 5 star rating

An amazing experience learning and immersion in the tour of the former Yugoslavian countries. A few words won’t do it justice, I highly recommend this experience. The detailed planning and logistics, the amazing Branko as driver, guide and education were exemplary.
A few other highlights that sets Movis apart from the other trips I have experienced
1. A local guide for a walking tour in each city. I was able to learn both ancient history as well as perspectives on WW2 and the 90s war. The 90s war goes by many names,depending on the country and their history.
2. Hotels- Rok and Movis do an excellent job at booking hotels that are centrally located to the city and where touring. It may cost a little more but very worthwhile.
3. Flexibility- Movis will tailor the trip to what you need. Example, we were able to flex the last day for me to spend some time with family that I hadn’t seen since pre Covid

We arrange this travel within 10 months, Rok from Movis, give us guidance and arrangement beyond our expectation. Branko, our leader (even he looks like Bruce Willis from far), share cookies from his mother, make our coffee much more difference. Small things make our journey a real family reunion.
We from Indonesia & Japan, travel together to Slovenija, Croatia & Austria, for sure Movis is our option next time

Rok and his team planned and executed an amazing tour for us through his beautiful country of Slovenia -- a place that offers spectacular scenery, great food, kind locals and interesting culture. My friend and I traveled for 7 days, including quick side trips to Motovun and Trieste. Rok was very professional and communicative during the planning process while we asked many questions and customized our options. Except for some rainy weather, which necessitated some last minute scheduling changes, our trip was a total success. Our guide Branko was with us portal to portal and was a perfect companion – knowledgeable, helpful, flexible and super fun to be around! He and Rok arranged for some extra activities on the fly to make our trip even more special. I highly recommend Movis -- contact them, you won't be sorry!

This is the 4th 7-18 day trip we have booked with Movis. That in itself should tell you that we are extremely pleased with their services and organization of top noche tours.
Highlights that other companies don’t offer:
- private car/van for just your couple or team
-private guide/driver that stays with you through the trip and takes care of all entrances/line ups/ reservations so you just arrive and go in without missing a beat
-all city guides spoke

We just had the most amazing trip of 6 countries (Austria, Hungary, Slovakia, Slovenia, Czech Republic, and Croatia) visiting Christmas Markets Beautiful sites and wonderful people. Rok of Movis Travel made this the best experience any one could ever ask for Being a private tour we had no worries from day one. From our Guide/Diver/ Miha who met us at the airport and was with us every day, to the City guides at each of our stops that gave us the local perspective to the wonderful food and experiences this the top notch of travel agencies. Rok helped us find what we wanted to see and do. He ensured we got to see and do what we wanted to do. Always there for all our questions and last minute changes. You couldn’t ask for a better person or agency. If Eastern Europe is where you want to visit this is the agency you want to go with. We went with this agency two years ago by googling Christmas Market tours. It was a gamble because we did not know where to start. Best chance we ever took. We liked it so much we did it again taking in more beautiful sites. Miha our driver/guide and Rok the gentlemen /owner who made it all happen have become members of our family now We are planning our next trip with them and look forward to new experiences. I don’t normally do write but I wanted to do this company. Their Professionalism, attention to detail, and Personal attention to detail made this private tour amazing and would love to travel again

Six of us just returned from an extensive and FABULOUS 2-week tour of
Croatia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Slovenia.
Rok (owner of MPT) created an amazing itinerary for us complete with gorgeous sites, amazing restaurants and luxury hotels. We did not need to do anything but get off and on our Mercedes van.
Our guide, Miha, was very fun, accomplished, intelligent (6 languages!) well traveled escorted us through incredibly beautiful natural sites, historic villages and beautiful cities. Miha's deep knowledge of every site we visited, enhanced our entire tour.
I highly highly highly recommend using Movis Private Tours for your Adriatic travels.
We had a memorable experience.

If I could give Movis Private Tours 10 starts I would! Rok planned the most amazing trip to Croatia for us! It was absolutely wonderful and we made memories that will last a lifetime! My children said it was their best vacation ever! His attention to detail in planning was OUTSTANDING. Hotel accommodations in Split and Dubrovnik were excellent and perfect for a family of 4 with two teens. Tours guides were personable, interesting, and all had something unique to offer - they were also flexible and accommodating. Our driver and guide was on top of everything - always knew where he was going, checked us in, and offered suggestions of restaurants, activities, etc. in each area. Activities such as boating to see the islands, kayaking around the walls of Dubrovnik, River canoeing down the Cortina River were amazing! Movis Private Tour's diligent planning, knowledge of the area, guides and activities allowed us to just have fun and enjoy our vacation completely stress free. We have worked with several travel companies and they are the very best. We will be recommending them to our friends and family and can't wait to start planning our next adventure with them!
