About
The Rizman winery once again started its production in 2006, skipping an entire generation of the Štimac family. A new vineyard was planted in new locations, the necessary infrastructure was built and a completely new winegrowing region was created in Croatia. The Štimac family is the first investor and ideological initiator of the new winegrowing region, which includes more than 80 hectares of vine plants in 2012. After planting the vine plants and constructing the infrastructure, which includes a private water spring, a winery with modern equipment was also built in the vineyard. It bears the name Rizman in memory of the first winemaker in the Štimac family. All our future agricultural products will also be presented with that name and logo. The best known member of the Štimac family is Igor, a former member of the Croatian national football team, who won third place in the World Championship in France in 1998 together with the rest of the Croatian team.

Beautiful place to relax on the way between Split and Dubrovnik. The tasting flight was informative and wines were decent to very good. We chose the flight with snacks which included the best anchovies we had during our entire stay in Croatia. Highly recommend.

Fantastic setting and great wine. The most amazing views looking down on the vineyards and the islands. The wine was also excellent. We like the Posip white and the Primus Plavac Mali red. The cheese plate made for a great light lunch.

We enjoyed our stop and wine tasting/food pairing. The food was nicely plated, the wines were generally good and the view was fantastic. Nice place to stop and relax between Dubrovnik and Split or after exploring Ston.

Family own wineyard.
Awesome view - must see!!
For me best wine ever - white very fresh, rose can really feel those fruits, red.... smooooth, deep but still fresh.
Side dishes also local - prosciutto, chesse olives.

This winery is a "must" visit. Nestled on the hills of Slivno Ravno, this place is lovely for some wine tasting and a cheese & pršut platter. They're white wine was our favourite and we bought 4 bottles to take home.

And the views of the coast from this place are breathtaking. I truely believe this place will get very busy over the next 5 years however it's still very quiet at the moment.

Well worth the visit.

Damir and his staff are making top quality wine. Their passion for excellence, pure bio wine making and Croatian pride pours out of every corner of their wines and tasting room. Each of their wines can standup against the best of France, Italy and California. When visiting you will be overwhelmed by a sense of peace and heritage as you stare from the tasting room balcony over the majestic Adriatic Sea. Having been introduced to the wine by one of the friendly staff or Damir, your experience in phenomenal modern Croatian wine production (blending native Croatian grapes with the best in modern wine making process) will begin. Ensure your try the entire selection as each is unique and tells it own story in flavor and history!

We stumbled across Rizman after seeing a sign on the road, well worth the few KM trip off the main road to visit the winery for a tasing. Friendly and knowledgeable staff with a passion for wine making in the Dalmatian region. The view may be the best one I will ever see at a winery, simply incredible. Wine bottles were great value!

We stopped here for a few minutes on our way to Split used by Connect Transfers. This was well worth it. I like drinking because I live near Napa. I bought two bottles, a red and white. Croatian white wines are very good! Try them. The red wines are also good, but most of them are from a zinfandel grape. Did you the Zinfandel grape originated in Croatia? Excellent views of the valley, and a great place to picnic.

We have passed by many times and decided to stop and try Rizman winery. We loved the peacefulness on the hilltop with a stunning sea view. We ordered the prosciutto and cheese platter paired with three wine tasting. Everything was fantastic. We bought a couple bottles of wine and plan to come again soon and tell all our friends to go

Stunning view, luxury place. Road was difficult but with a surprice in the end. We arrived on a top of a hill and was surpriced with a nice view to vinery and sea either. Had a degustation of 3 kinds of wine with delicious prosciutto, cheese, rucolla salat, and sweet chilli pepper. We felt like a milionars.
