We visited Art Gastro as it happened to be on our route. We love wines and olive oils. The host explained throughly their process for both olive oiles and wines. We got to taste them and found them very good. We recommend!

If You are fun of great cousine/food culture then this is must place for You. I'm fun of south Europe cousin. Important products within this culture are oil of olives and wines. Negri oli of olives is in my opinion best I have ever tried. I always thought that homeland of oil will be Toscany. It has changes since I have tried this oil. I knew this product already for some time. During this trip i also tried their wine and here again a great surprise. Their sparkling white wine (Prosecco like) is very well balanced, fruity. Last but not least is owner and his family giving You great experience during stay at Palast Negri. It was best cousine/hospitality experiences during whole Croatian holidays we had!

We visited rabac in early may, due to bad weather we decided to get a taxi to Labin old town, we got the worst taxi driver ever as he tried to advise us there was nothing in old town Labin and tried to get us to visit new town Labin. We ignored his advice and visited the old town. Beautiful circular walk thru the streets, brought us to two men enjoying a glass of rose wine in the sun, I decided to have a look thru the door to see if it was a bar, that’s when one of the gentlemen (William Negri) asked if we would like a drink, that’s when we entered the art gallery/ bar. We were served wine of the finest quality along with Williams vast knowledge of the area, his family history and his produce. What an absolute pleasure it was to be in this mans company, we had small children and he made us feel welcome right from the off. We enjoyed the wine, which we purchased to take back as well, but when he put a bowl of his olive oil on the bar with bread to sample, that is when we were truly in awe of a master. If you are in the vicinity of Labin, it is well worth the visit. In short go to Labin, enjoy the town an call in to see William, you won’t regret it. Thanks for the experience, don’t know what I will do when the olive oil is gone.

If you share with us the passion for products of Istria, the best place to taste it all is in this Negri Pallazo.. Friendly approach of the owners and their passionable talk about their products is something out of this world. Great olive oil & great wine collection with acceptable prices. Never better degustation.
