This little beach was a find, but I would imagine it gets very busy in the season as it has been the subject of a national newspaper travel supplement. The approach is probably best described as a bit "off road" and whilst you can negotiate close to the beach there isn't space for many cars once there. We parked a little way back in the national park and walked a short way along a track. The beach is pebbly with both large and small pebbles so beach shoes are a must, but the water is crystal clear, level and shallow to wade into and the large rocks around the perimeter are perfect for sunbathing . Good for supervised children - we had four ranging from one to twelve and all found something to do from stacking pebbles to snorkelling, but some of the larger pebbles in the sea were slippery for very little ones. There is a small cafe, but it wasn't open when we were there, so take a picnic, plenty to drink, sun cream and you will have an amazing time in beautiful scenery

Beautiful beach you can get there by entering a protected oasis, if you go on foot you have to leave the car about three km away and walk under the sun. Alternatively you pay 15 euros to enter by car, and I recommend it. Very beautiful beach with seabeds to see fantastic water

The beach Njive is one of the beautiful beaches on the southern part of the cape Kamenjak (Kamenjak National Park ). It is located in a beautiful picturesque bay. The central part of the beach is covered with gravel and small pebbles. The sides of the beach are rocky and flat. Entrance into the sea is very shallow and suitable for families with kids, young and old. Swimming and sunbathing in the area of this protected landscape is truly a wonderful experience.

We were recommended to visit this particular beach in Kamenjak, and we weren't disappointed. It is quite small and as we went quite early this wasn't a real problem as we got a good spot. Like most beaches in this area it is a stony beach so maybe wear some sea footwear so not to hurt your feet. The snorkeling in this spot is incredible, in a matter of 10 minutes I spotted 7 species of fish and that was in the shallows. Spectacular views and crystal clear water.

Even if the whole Kamenjak park is stunning, we found Njive the best beach in Premantura. You can enter into the water both from a pebble stone seaside and from a high rocky wall, where you can get an amazing view of the wonderful landscape from. All around the area you can find some recover from the sun into a pine wood. There’s also a nice bar and it’s easy to park your car. The mood is wild and you can feel like you were in the 70’s!

To find it, follow "njive bufet" sign; there is no separate njive sign. The beach is nice, but it draws too many people - we have found other places less crowded. The bar is nice looking, but still, it offers the same basic foods as other places. There is a small pebble entrance, so kids are no problem.

I am an early bird and go there on bike before it gets too crowded, I suggest you do the same. It is a terrible pity that the coast gets depleted by people breaking stones and littering...

Every beach in this region is beautiful, but this one is "private" until 10 o'clock-ish, most days. Wake up early and go there. Take a fruit salad and eat breakfast there.

A very nice little beach to go fro a swim (seashoes are a must, because there are many sea urchins). The water is ever so clear and there are many fish. There is a nice beach bar nearby where you can get drinks and snacks. Toilets are a bit dodgy...
