Gin tasting delight
Sep 2020 • Couples
Definitely a worth while visit to this distillery as a warm friendly welcome awaits you as well as some tasty gins to sample. Great opportunity to support a small business and purchase some quality bottles of gins and also a great tasting vodka. Love the idea of dog gins, where proceeds are donated to animal charities.

The best gin tasting experience ever!
Dec 2019 • Couples
My partner and I were staying at Dalnoid Treehouse and Chrissy then owner of Persie arranged for her wonderful mother in law to collect us and take us to the distillery. What a fabulous lady she was!

Another party had cancelled so we were given our own personal gin tasting experience.

Chrissy was so knowledgable and really opened my eyes to different ways of serving gin and the wonderful flavours that you can bring out just by adding mint or basil or different tonics etc.

We had a really enjoyable few hours and left with a few bottles under our arms!

Chrissy's mother in law even took us back to our accommodation.

We can't thank the family enough.

Visited here on 23 feb 2019 while staying nearby, they have a pick up & drop off service so u can taste away & relax,
Husband & wife make the perfect team..!
Gin was gorgeous..(all of them) :)
Good laugh & luckily had good banter with the other people on the visit.. got picture took & put up on the wall as well.. brilliant wee distillery. Just about finished our bottle we bought.(will need another soon)
Now I can’t leave without mentioning our pick up & drop off lady..(I forget her name.owners mother I think)
She made the drive just as memorable as the visit, we laughed all the way there & back, great lady..!
Would recommend this place to anyone & would recommend the pick up & drop off as well. Loved it..!

One of the reasons we chose to holiday in this area was its proximity to the distillery. We popped in on a day when the equipment was being a bit temperamental but nevertheless both of the gentlemen had time to talk. Both were very knowledgable about the gin trade and took the time to answer our questions. Needless to say we bought a bottle of each and are now ensconced by the fire sampling large measures. A visit here is most rewarding.

If you like gin you will love this small distillery! Enthusiastic and knowledgeable host with fine produce. Conveniently placed on the A93 on the way to Braemar.
