One of my favorite region in Italy is Lombardia, in the pictures you could appreciate the Castle of Soncino.

A must see if you are in Soncino! The price of the ticket is 5€ and it includes the "Museo della Stampa" which is a 6 minutes walk away from the Rocca.

La Rocca Sforcesca is a must see castle for any castle enthusiasts. Along with the city walls it represents a fine example of medieval Italian military architecture. Visitors can walk along the walls and admire the frescos on the tower ceilings as well as the Ghibellin merlons.

You can easily have too much of castles, but even if you never visit another one, the great Rocca Sforzesca is truly worth seeing. It is wonderfully preserved and you can explore the dank dungeons, stroll on the battlements and easily climb to the top of the highest tower. Children will love it - it is a place of fairy tales and magic. There's a nice cool bar nearby, too. …

TO SEE: the small village in Soncino, the beautiful and majestic Rocca Sforzesca, the basement, the mill and the Museum of printing. The entrance costs 5€, without guidance, following explanatory signs that there are along the route you can climb up the towers. The castle is bare inside but is well preserved.
