About
Barone Pizzini is a winery in Franciacorta and it’s the first to produce Franciacorta from organic grapes. The cellar was built according to eco-friendly architectural standards. The vineyards cover a total surface area of 47 hectares. The cellar tour follows a raised route that takes you through all the production stages; it continues to a room 10 m below ground level, where you find the barrique cellar and ends up with a wine tasting.

We booked a visit with tasting at the Barone Pizzini winery on the recommendation of friends. Absolutely recommended, modern structure with suggestive cellar. Accompanied by a passionate and very helpful guy. Splendid sunny day and walk in the vineyards. Excellent wines tasted, especially the Golf 1927. Congratulations

We went to this winery, by chance.. in the sense that we hadn't booked.. but as soon as we entered the girls were super kind and welcoming to give us the tasting without having made any appointment!
Very prepared and available..
We will definitely recommend it!
Congratulations and obviously excellent wines!

We joined a „Twenty years of bio in three glasses“ wine tour and tasting at Barone Pizzini and loved it. Francesca, our host, did an amazing job in explaining to us all the particularities of the organic viticulture and the Barone Pizzini house. The tour was rounded off by the tasting of three signature sparking wines of the house. Delicious!

Rude staff is impatient in talking to you and never give you the feeling that you’re a guest. Wonder what you need to be capable of in order to work here. Not much I reckon

We booked a tour of the vineyards and cellars and were very impressed with the professional and informative tour which explained the history as well as the modern organic methods.
Even though Barone Pizzini is an old winery, their new facilities are modern and state of the art.
The subsequent tasting included a platter of sliced meats and cheese. I was allowed to try extra wines at a charge, which also meant I bought a greater selection of wines than at other wineries.

Once you have walked 20 meters below the earth's surface to see the resting Franciacorta, you deserve a sip or two....with a splendid view as far as the eye can see of beautiful green.
As a New Yorker, I was surprised there seemed to be no fee.....but we were visiting with a local so I think you should check. Amazing how different California or New York tastings are compared with Franciacorta....here, they sit down with you and explain the wines, the different values, the process and they are not selling you the glass.
It was a great experience.

We hired two bikes from Iseobikes and set off from Iseo to explore the Franciacorta wine area, unfortunately it was ferragosto so many wineries were closed. Luckily Barrone Pizzini was open and we booked a tour in English. Silviano, the estate manager conducted a really informative tour of both the vineyards and cellar, stressing the importance of organic winemaking. The wines were superb, accompanied by local meats and cheeses. We spent 2 days easy cycling around well signposted beautiful countryside. Highly recommended.
