Wife wanted to take Lambs home
Apr 2019 • Family
This is a small farm petting zoo type area with Lambs,Goats,Chickens and the like. My grandsons were able to feed the Lambs Milk and loved the interaction. It is only small and it costs £1 to enter. They have a farm shop where they sell homemade cakes and have a small cafe. Prices very good the home baked goods particularly Bakewell Tart were to die for. You can purchase Milk and food for ;lambs at reasonable price and all in all its less than an hour if you stay and use cafe as well so doesn't tie little ones up for long periods so they don't lose interest. Really good place for little ones.

Not disappointed
Apr 2019 • Friends
I have driven along the A45 for the last yr and passed the sign for Bliss nursery and thought "must come here for lunch one day" well finally did today and neither myself or my mum were disappointed. We both had the ploughman's which was a good size and had a nice selection of chutneys. The pot of tea for 2 served about 6 cups and the homemade gooseberry pie and custard that was on the specials board took me back to my childhood. The tea room had a real homely feel and the owners were so friendly. We will most definitely be going back and I would advise anyone to visit.

Dreaming?
Jul 2018 • Couples
Ever dreamt of having tea served in a teapot, no tea bag in a mug, china cup, no sugar sachet, fresh milk, fresh warm scone, clotted cream, jams and served with a smile as though it's meant? Then dream no more, because this little gem in the quaint village of Flore in Northants does all that and more. Make the most of a dying customer experience and rejoice in the knowledge that good food and good service is alive and well in small corner of England!

Interesting!!
May 2018 • Couples
I have found this difficult to rate overall. Tucked away in Flore, this enterprise is run by husband and wife team. Small as is the car park but with more disabled parking per rota. Tea room excellent. Small lunch menu and home made quiche and baked potato on specials board. We had gardeners breakfast ( fry up) which really was excellent. Nice small sausages and back bacon. 2 each of sausages bacon eggs tomato and a slice of fried bread £6. Large pot of tea for 2 with proper small cups. Ambience good and very friendly.
Went to Farm shop next door. Very small with freezer full of meat and pies. and lots of home produced hen and duck eggs. Some tired looking vegetables, and not a lot else. The meat comes from Abattoir/Butcher in Leicester and features local produced meat. We bought some meat as the price is excellent. Have a look at the pies if you go!!!
The nursery is again very small, unless I missed part of it. Plants very cheap and cheerful.
There is a pets corner. Admission £1 which we did not visit but others have and reviewed.
We would go again for the tea room which is excellent. The whole enterprise reminds me of days gone by before the birth of the large garden centres etc. This cheerful husband and wife team work hard I guess for little reward

Lovely little find!
Mar 2018 • Friends
The sign from the main road was a reminder we had always meant to drop by and have a cup of tea and we finally went. Lovely little find, only had tea, but decent pot for 2 with lovely old original china cups and saucers. Staff pleasant, good choice of cakes and food, must come back when more time and hungry. Added bonus was the new born lambs and petting area at the farm near the car park. A must for little ones.

Lovely Afternoon Tea
Feb 2018 • Couples
We happened to chance upon this lovely Farm Shop and Tearooms. What a great find, we had Afternoon Tea which was absolutely delightful, and such a friendly atmosphere. The Farm Shop is small but well stocked and with the other Farm Attractions, well worth popping in.

A very small place but plenty of choice. Lots of funny titles for food - tongue in cheek but a laugh. Pleasant owner.

A great Spring visit
Apr 2017 • Family
Bliss Lane Nursery and Farm Shop were strongly recommended by friends as a delightful experience for a family. I took my three granddaughters age 5 to 12 years. We paid £1 each to visit the lambs and goats and a further £3 for 3 bottles of warm milk to feed the lambs. Also able to buy a bag of nibbles for the goats. The girls were thrilled to be able to get so close to the animals both to stroke and to feed them. Good home cooked food in the cafe and friendly helpers.
I would also like to pass on my thanks to the staff who rushed to help me get to my feet when I tripped up. Fortunately only my pride was hurt! Will definitely return with or without children.

Lovely homemade cake and quaint farm
Apr 2017
We stopped here to see the lambs with my 1 year old son. It's not a fancy attraction but a small farm. It's only £1 each and we all enjoyed seeing and feeding the animals.

The homemade cake in the tearoom was delicious and only £2 a slice.
I'd recommend it based on it being a pleasant way to spend an hour locally
