The land that time forgot
Apr 2021 • Solo
This is the most depressing shopping centre in England.

Hardly any shops, the place has never had a fresh coat of paint since it opened.

The multi storey car park was designed terribly lots of columns that reduce your version when reversing.

Run down, grotty, poor lighting, small shops, dirty and disgusting. The people in the area deserve a decent place to shop

trying to keep us safe.
Dec 2020
I'v been going to the concourse my whole life and its great! Theres alot of improvements and new shops opening! i was there the other day and i bought alot of things with all the shops still be open. Sadly we have gone into tier so non essential shops that i like in there are closed. glad i went for the last time. im also reading all the people that have wrote the bad reviews and really they are wrong. The toilets are only closed for safety but the disabled one is open and people have to go in one by one. People are told to wear their mask if it is off iv seen it done ovbiously not kids. The concourse is taking a big risk with all the people that go there its not that there bad its just that there trying to keep everyone safe.

Beware of infection
Aug 2020 • Couples
Called on Bank Holiday Monday for the first time in a few months due to the Covid outbreak. Posters on the door told shoppers to wear masks in the centre and the stores. I estimated over 50% of shoppers were not wearing masks. Whilst some people have conditions excluding them from the requirements, I saw many people carrying the masks in their hands. Many of the shops units are empty, and I do not think it is worthwhile visiting again

Regeneration has started
Jul 2020 • Couples
Ok so lots bad reviews, but the centre has A lot of potential, there is new shops opening now, and the new cinema is under construction, the floors are being re-done and there is places to eat and shop it’s having a new store Love Health & Wellbeing, which will be a great addition to the centre as it caters for vegetarians, Vegans and gluten free, it’s also got the full range of vitamins supplements and minerals, something New and vibrant modern which is much needed for the centre. I believe it’s opening soon!
Can’t wait to shop there as there is not a shop in the centre like that!

Toilets are closed
Apr 2020 • Solo
All toilets are closed for weeks, despite the long queueing at the shops. Management denied this basic human rights from vulnerable people and from the ones who have no cars and coming other parts of the town. This is the only shopping centre and people with low income forced to shop food, soap, etc. here, because the corner shops are not affordable. People ealk or cycle miles there and no toilets on the way either. Shame on the management for this inhumane decision.

Full Of Scruffs
Mar 2019
Every time i walk into the concourse nowadays i am greeted by the smell of hash, inside the toilets there are empty alcohol bottles ie Smirnoff. Most of the shops in there sell novelty items and the poundbakery in there is awful. The concourse is hot box with e ciggarettes and as day one proper orignal skemmer im distraught in what are amazing town has become. A warzone, shambles.

Not worth risking £100 fine to shop here
Oct 2019 • Couples
While the Concourse has "free" parking, the parking is managed by by a cowboy private parking firm. For example the ANPR cameras will issue you with a fine if you inadvertently return within 2 hours. This is so easy to do. You might eg get home and realise you need cashpoint and so return. I feel sorry for the traders as it is not their fault but I will not shop there. A local councillor is constantly berating the parking firm without success. My advice avoid like the plague. If you go by taxi then fair enough. Dont use McDonalds drive thru even unless you need the hassle of fighting an unfair fine.
