The pub is a little dark in decor but is clean and spacious. Visited on a Saturday night and the place was packed to the rafters. Good local band playing as well. Prices are very reasonable and staff is efficient and helpful.

Good pub, good prices but can get a little bit to busy at a weekend. Have good bands and singers on. It use to be better where they use to be positioned but they've moved the stage for them to perform into a little corner.

Dated inside but reasonably priced drinks, not a bad atmosphere. Some of the bands have been questionable when I’ve been in. Large outside smoking area downstairs.

Turned up for a pint and the Bingo was on! Ended up playing bingo and we won! Not really my type of pub but it was ok. A little too sporty for us

I was there to watch Sunderland not get relegated on the telly. Despite the review saying you need to be local I couldn't have felt more relaxed - about the pub not the football, that was excruciating. Anyway most of them were playing bingo while...More

This is not a place that will suit everyone but those who like a pint, want to watch sport and be served by pleasant staff, this is worth a visit or two. Recently attended an organised event which went down well, the service was good,...More

Despite the competition of a Wetherspoons close by, The Queens undoubtedly wins the title for Leyland's cheapest beer. Regular promotions see bottles from just 99p and beer at under £2 per pint, making it a very affordable place to enjoy an evening with friends. Multiple...More
