Lovely memories

Lots of quirky little bits that remind you of the past. Nicely set out with everything easy to see. Nice coffee shop and a theatre that turns into a cinema for one off picture shows.

Sheerness Heritage Centre is now 'Rose Street Cottage of Curiosities'
Apr 2018 • Solo
Following a change of management to a charitable trust 'Sheppey Promenade', the Sheerness Heritage Centre has been relaunched as 'Rose Street Cottage of Curiosities'. Promenade run a festival every other year, the 2018 festival runs from July 21 until 28. The attraction is open the 3-4 days a week. It is an old dockyard workers cottage built circa 1800, now a heritage/art centre brought the life by helpful and talented volunteers.

Kent Big Day out
Mar 2018 • Couples
Went here for the Kent Big Day Out.

Some really interesting items on display bought back some childhood memories. Quite a small place but lots on display. Probably no more than an hour or slightly longer if you have a cuppa.

Lovely venue lots of activities are put on by the volunteers that run the Hertiage Centre. It captures the past of the town through personal memories and facts

Wasted journey

After reading about this house / café we thought we would pay the place a visit & support a local attractions.
Disappointed as it was not open dispute literature stating the opening days & hours. We will update this review when we eventually get to visit but in the meantime it only gets one point as this was a bad experience. (We were not the only ones trying the locked door)
