Great topic. Story nicely told but not entirely current. Good clear interpretation and plenty interactives. Almost entirely geared to kids though. Did not hit the spot for us as adult visitors. Good do with more objects too. Fine for a family visit but not really a grown up experience.

The Spaceport exhibition is beginning to look a bit tired and could do with a facelift. Some of the exhibits were not working and the film was of very poor quality. The staff were friendly but in general it all needs an overhaul.

A pleasant childrens' exhibit with a very good theatre. The story of space is told through interactive exhibits and visual displays.

We were doing the rounds of attractions as we wanted somewhere interesting to take the grandchildren in the summer hols. Several of the exhibits were out of order including the Observatory and some were broken. The Space Dome show was very shabby, I thought there was something wrong with my eyesight as it was like looking through opaque glass and... More

Stopped off at the Spaceport at it was next to the Mersey Ferry Dock. Knowing that they had a Dr Who exhibition, it didn't take long to persuade the wife and kids. The space and science is well explained for all the family, especially the planetarium. The Dr Who exhibits were worth the entrance fee alone - informative and good... More

Spent 20 minutes on the ferry to get there and about 40 minutes looking around the exhibition. Some small interactive activities, majority is reading. We found this activity disappointing and a waste of our time spent in Liverpool. One activity was closed and the last planetarium was 1.30pm. Wouldn't recommend for young children, wouldn't recommend for older children. Wouldn't recommend... More

We took our four year old grandson for a day out arriving by ferry and using the café in the ferry complex for lunch. We were a little apprehensive after reading some of the negative reviews on trip advisor but need not have worried. Our grandson really enjoyed himself particularly on the ride and the interactive displays. The overall experience... More

We visited this attraction on a Friday in the half term holidays and really enjoyed it. There were very few people there so we could see all of the exhibits and use all of the interactive activities. There was plenty for the young people to do as their ages ranged from 9 to 15 but I think it would be... More

Visited using club card points with tesco so included the boat story and ferry on the Mersey. Spaceport was ok abit boring as a lot of just reading and looking at pictures was a simulater which was good. 2 hours visit at a push we combined the visit with ferry across the Mersey which was great really enjoyable and once... Visited this attraction as part of the River Mersey Cruise. Took my 9 year old daughter to see this as we are sci-fi fans and have an interest in space & aliens etc. It was an overcast but warm day and from stepping into Spaceport it felt quite stuffy. As we made our way around I thought it was quite... More
