Admission price is good value for money as you can easily spend most of the day at this museum. It's not just aircraft that can be seen here, there is a most impressive Land Warfare exhibition and lots of history about the Anglian and Parachute Regiments through the various conflicts. The collection of aircraft at Duxford are amazing with information... More

Good value for money! Spread over a number of hangers so take an umbrella if it's raining ! A large number of plane exhibits from Concorde (open bet 10.30 and 3) to B52 In the American Air Museum. You can easily spend 5hrs here without noticing. Some good cafes within. A must visit! The whole site opens at 10am and... More

A vast museum that celebrates the flying war machines and those that flew them since their inception until recent history. It is hard not to be impressed by the technological prowess and rate of development that each war plane represents. It is equally hard not to reflect on how many people have died on each side in the conflicts they... More

We took our children to Duxford for the afternoon at the weekend. We had a lot of fun looking at the aircrafts and playing in the Air Space hanger. We found it to be a bit pricey for a family of five and there wasn't a great choice of food for young children. But we thoroughly enjoyed it.

This is a vast site with several museums to visit. Each hangar has a theme and in between you can go and see some of the restoration (see picture of the last remaining Victor being restored) projects and current fliers as well as small exhibitions. The hangars are 5 mins walk from each other but there's things in between including... More

Did a visit as part of a group outing. A great day out for me. I have done the USAF Dayton Museum and was very surprised at the range and quality of exhibits which I wasn't expecting. I guess 'what is there' is good question and the star items are what counts. Well, a good number of Spitfires, Hurricanes, Development... More

Well we had been meaning to visit the Imperial War Museum (IWM) Duxford for a long time and so we were pleased to have made it at last. We were blessed with an almost perfect day weather- wise, warm with a clear blue sky. So other than the static displays inside and out, there was also some flying taking place... More

Great place for a day out, plenty to do and see. Two good restaurants with outside seating and several gift shops. Ample parking with access off the M11. Tends to be busier at weekends but open every day.
