Malham Tarn is well worth a visit. The peacefulness can be felt and the scenery particularly at dusk is just stunning. Don't miss it.

This is a tranquil spot in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales. One of only two natural lakes in Yorkshire. Abounds with wildlife. Part of a great walk from Malham via Gordale Scar and Malham Cove.

The walk to the Tarn was just beautiful. I believe a Harry Potter scene was filmed there, I can see why. Well worth a visit.

Left my wife in the car to sleep as raining. But with full waterproofs on no problem. Interesting scenery including the nature reserve.

Excellent place for a walk or to simply spend some time contemplating. It is a short drive from Grassington or Malham and there is a car park conveniently located near the tarn.
