They say concur your fears. Me with a slight fear of heights... we did it with no regrets! There are 4 courses, easy, intermediate, difficult, and extreme. You are harnessed and locked in with a pretty failsafe unique carbine system before you climb your first tree. As you move through the self guided course there are a number of creative challenges. 2.5 hours and you train on the first course which is low to the ground and easy. The staff - Shane and Zack were great, helpful and always ready to come to your aid if needed. As you move through the levels it does take some physical strength and gets more difficult as you progress. This was one of my favorite parts of our trip.

This was a fantastic adventure. Imagine doing an obstacle course, 50’ up in the trees. Very professional training and staff. They train you to go through the course on in a mini course. 8 year olds can participate which was great for us. The equipment is pretty much failsafe ensuring you are always attached to the trees or the guide lines. Multiple ziplines through the course. There are 4 courses, easy, intermediate, difficult, and extreme. We only made it through difficult, but watched a group go through extreme. Young, fit, and failed to get through. It looked pretty tough and is the highest one. Just to get from easy to difficult took 2.5 hours. Anyway, had a blast and lots of memories. Would recommend for anyone...

Hands down the BEST adventure I’ve been on in years! Worth every penny!! Our tour was on time, the teens/young adults running the place were all professional and courteous. The guides were very knowledgeable and patient while gearing us up! They thoroughly educated the group on how to use the equipment and helped us get started. For me, this was a new skill! It’s both challenging for the mind and body. The course is thoughtfully designed with a range of difficulties. We will absolutely be back soon! Great job to all!

We visited FCFs to participate in the Canopy Challenge May 2021. It is a fantastic course. There is a height restriction so I went with a grandchild on the junior course. The rest of the family completed the regular course which was fantastic. The adults and teens loved it!
What was disappointing was the very poor instructions. We were helped by teens guides whose instructions in donning the gear and navigating the equipment were very poor. They spoke very quickly and rotely. They had given this spiel a thousand times and they rattled everything off with no real intent or expectation that the folks would understand. It was frustrating and rattling. Once we were geared up, we received further instructions on safety and the locking, unlocking and relocking of the safety garb. Again it seemed that the instructions were given as fast as the kid could talk. "Does anyone have any questions"? We were all in a daze.
When we started the course, I had to ask for help several times, I was so flustered with the equipment that I couldn't enjoy the obstacle course. When you are assisting a small child on the junior course, you must lock, unlock and relock the kid then lock, unlock and relock yourself. I felt that was all I got accomplished and it wasn't pleasurable. The adults on the main course felt the same. They spent most of their energy working the safely locking mechanism.
Better instructors and better instruction could have made the course much more fun. A video and demonstration and not just reading the instructions could have helped. A TV showing how to lock and unlock the safety harness could have been shown while we were waiting to don gear.
The course was fantastic and highly, highly recommended (though the junior course was not challenging for our 8 year old). We could have had a fantastic time if we had gotten better instructions from staff who really were concerned about our understanding of the process. I was half way through the course before I got the hang of how to use the safety gear. It didn't have to be this way. It wasn't enjoyable at all when all I was concerned about was that I was holding up the folks behind me. Others felt the same. Better instruction by better staff could have made this a most enjoyable experience.
Junior course was not challenging for our 8 year old kid who was too short for the regular course. He was disappointed.
The adult course was fantastic. Get staff to work who can give better guidance so you can enjoy the course and not concentrate on the equipment which sorely diminished the enjoyment of the experience.

First off, thank you for taking the time to leave a detailed review; while a good review makes us feel great, the not-so-good reviews help us see where we can improve, and that is invaluable. I apologize that you feel we missed the mark this time. We pride ourselves on our staffing and try to ensure that everyone has a great time. As a self-guided experience, guests make all their own connections and traverse through the course at their own pace, and in the event they need help, they can call for a guide who can help them with either advice or physically helping them through. The locking mechanism is only one of many reasons why we require an adult to be present on the course with a child. I understand that learning the mechanism while helping the younger ones isn't always easy. Still, it is required to provide a safety margin while traversing the course and giving the children the best experience possible.
I appreciate the suggestions. I am currently working on a video demonstration of the key system and how it works. Thank you again for your review, and we hope to see you again sometime in the future!

What a great adventure! We took a family group of 16 to celebrate my moms 80th birthday. She loved it! It definitely was physically challenging for her but she has good balance and physical stamina and was able to do the harder (not most extreme) course with help getting clipped in. She even said it was her best birthday ever! The guides were extremely helpful from getting into the equipment, explaining the course and helping during the course if needed (make sure and tip them!). Even the easiest course was fun and a bit challenging too. I will definitely make plans to come back - such a fun experience!
Note: I had to indicate who was with me but there was not an option for us - we were a three generational family group with the youngest being 17 so I chose “friends”

This course is definitely more of a challenge course than a zip line experience. Our group of four middle aged adults had a great time on the easy and moderate courses. We could have moved on to the difficult, but ice cream called! The guides were friendly and answered all of our questions. The pool snack bar serves sandwiches, ice cream, and some local beers.

Challenge course was good but the junior course was simply not worth the money. Would like to see a better training program adopted and have the teenage staff members provide more hands on assistance with the required locking and unlocking mechanisms for parents (or grandparents) trying to maneuver the junior course with young children plus themselves. This course could be improved to provide a less stressful, more enjoyable experience.

Really fun course! Has different levels to accommodate everyone. There are some really challenging obstacles. I love that it is self paced and not crowded due to limited ticketing. Be there early, not on time (on time is late).

We recommend the course. We had excellent instructions and two knowledgeable guides. We were disappointed that the instructions took an hour of our 2 1/2 hours. Our group was behind a family with small children and slowed us down on the easy part. The more adventurous people in my group weren’t able to do the more advanced course Due to time limitations.
You can’t fall to the ground!
There are options to choose from.
During instructions, ask questions if needed.
Bob and Tilly were awesome.

Was on vaction in Tennessee and this caught our eye. We book it for a Tuesday and enjoyed it so much went back on Friday. Loved it so much! It isn't for everyone. You can quit the course at anytime. There is no chance in falling you are lock in to a cable at all times.
