This little wharf, which is directly north of the Sydney Opera House, is a ferry stop. There is not much to it apart from being a convenient stop to visit the surrounds of the northern side of the harbour.

The locals seem to eye outsiders with a dirty look. Why ? Is this not a public place? The snobs of Sydney seem to treat this place as their own, private.

Night time in summer is a great place to be in Sydney. So many things to do around the best harbour in the world. Grab a late night gelato or coffee (or both) from the shopping strip in Kirribilli and watch the world go by under the bridge. Good parking available. On leash dog friendly area.

This is a small, quaint and now decommissioned ferry wharf in Kirribilli, directly across the harbour from the Opera House. If you want close-up, waterfront level photos of the Opera House, the wharves at Circular Quay and the Harbour Bridge, there is no better spot. When we visited it was also a popular spot for fishing.

Well maintained and picturesque right on Sydney Harbour. Facing the city, Circular Quay, the Opera House and close to the Harbour Bridge. Quite a setting.

This is a lovely area for getting some of the best views of Sydney Harbour. The Wharf itself is, I think out of service, but the general area is terrific. There is a small park where you can have a seat and just sit back, absorb the fresh air and totally enjoy the view, practically right underneath the Harbour Bridge. The Opera House is right in front of you, not too far away, just across the other side of the water. The Luna Park is next door. There is the Milsons Point Wharf nearby if you want to catch the ferry, or you can catch the train from Milsons Point train station a few minutes walk from there.

The wharf is no longer a ferry stop. However, from the end of the wharf there's a nice view of the Opera House and the Sydney Harbour Bridge, and you can watch the ferries entering and leaving Circular Quay. However, the view from higher up the hill is far better.

Adjacent to Milsons Point and just across from the Opera House and the bridge the Jeffrey Street Wharf is down Jeffrey Street in Kirribilli and provides excellent views of the bridge and the Opera House even on a cold and wet winter's day. It also has a ferry service.

Right near my apartment this disused wharf is the perfect setting for harbour (including Opera House and Harbour Bridge) watching and watching the boats go by. Lots of fishing action too!

The photo in TripAdvisor actually shows the Beulah Street wharf, which is not easy to find. And TripAdvisor do not seem to care that it is the wrong photo. Nevermind, the real wharf is at the end of Broughton Street, Kirribilli and just keep on going down the road until you reach the water. Great place for the iconic photo.
