We walked from Caunes Minervois (2.2km each way) and followed the road which was very well signposted. We recommend the walk as it was very pleasant, quiet and lovely scenery with many vines. A beautiful church sits beneath the mountains with lovely views. A good...More

This modest looking church has a beautiful interior and stunning views of a river gorge. People picnic on the grounds, which is not surprising, given the views. The church has a history connected to pilgrimages to Lourdes. It is close to the marble quarry which...More

We first discovered Notre Dame du Cros 10 years ago, and have visited it many times. The little chapel is charming, but there are many more places to discover in the valley. The chapel is the site of an ancient healing spring, and there is...More

This church near Caunes-Minervois is worth the visit. Its history includes passage of the pilgrims going to Lourdes in SW France and has a beautiful interior. It is also a terrific place for hiking in the hills and picnics.
