Amazing collection of old toys and incredible craftmanship in the fully furnished miniature houses. The attention to detail is spectacular. My kids and i spent half an hour marvelling at all the houses who look like the inhabitants spent years decorating. All the speciality shops are amazing too. Upstairs is a whole village in the mountains with a train and automated characters.
This place is well worth your time and money.

Wonderful place to visit, so glad I went.Attention to detail magnificent. It was almost like visiting a National Trust House looking inside each room has such minute detail and is set in a time gone by.Wonderful with minute family photos framed on the walls.

Calling this place a "museum" is endlessly stretching the term.
It's just 2.5 rooms filled with doll houses and dolls.
It's embarrassingly kitsch, and to add insult to injury - photography is not allowed inside.
You don't need more than 5 minutes inside.
Skip it.

My husband and I are just about to restore a dolls house for our granddaughter, so we were really keen to go and visit this museum whilst in Guadalest. We went with our friends and we all completely loved it. We spent about forty minutes wandering around, but easily could have stayed longer and would go again of we are in the area. The dolls houses are beautiful and the furnishings and teeny accessories are amazing.

Took a day trip with round town tours wonderful drive with breathtaking scenery, once there had a steep climb to the top recommend you do it this way as it's a wee bit tiring but well worth it. Once up the top the views are amazing as is the history on the way down we went into the museums and small attractions stopped at a small picnic area for snacks. There was a small variety of shops which were slightly overpriced but in general a fantastic day out and well worth it.

When you are in an area as scenic as Guadalest wasting time in a what is basically a glorified dolls house museum is frankly something of a waste of time. We were recommended this museum by our tour guide and literally went in and out in 5 minutes.

Stopped off to visit the Marco dolls house museum, and what an experience. Such talent and something that I shall always remember. You could spend as long as you wanted and each exhibit was so detailed you could stand and look at it for ages and still see something new. Excellent value for money and would highly recommend. Every little girls dream...

This museum is the work of one man Antonio Marco and has taken him 15 years to complete.
It is a private museum which opens every day of the year. You can see beautifully decorated doll houses with intricate details, a Nativity Scene and other models made from real bricks, stone and iron. The interiors are exact replicas of authentic houses.
A particularly interesting scale model is the one of a giant Bethlehem. This nativity scene weighs 12 tons and in the style of the early 20th Century. It has received many awards from tourist associations, and the compliments of the Spanish Royal Family. The Nativity Scene required 20 years for its construction, and it is made without using cork, plastic, cardboard, or paint. Instead stone, tile, brick, wood, iron, natural plants and bonsai were employed. The mans patience and attention to detail must be admired. There is a small entrance fee which is well worth it.
