I had an incredible time running a 650GS through these two amazing roads. Thanks to Adventure Motorcycle Tours!! Claudia and team were very professional. They gave me great attention, a good bike for a fair price, and a lot of flexibility with pick up and return places. I really appreciated their services and I recommend to everyone. With regards to the roads, there are no words to describe the beauty of those landscapes and the feeling on each and every turn. You have to go and do it. I will do it again, for sure.

My experience with Adventure Motorcycles was excellent from start to finish. Before I made a reservation they answered all of my questions quickly, and were super helpful. When I picked up my rental they gave me tons of information on where I should go and what I should see. Even when I returned the bike they were super helpful, and helped my find transportation to my next city.

The service here is way beyond what I expected, I really hope that I can return one day I join them on a tour. If you are considering renting a motorcycle or taking a tour of Romania, I can't recommend this place enough.

Thanks again Michael and Claudia!

Michael was my guide for the truly amazing 7 day best of Transylvania trip that I did back at the end of July. I must say the week was some of the most brilliant riding experiences I've ever done and I've been riding for over 25 years. The combination of great winding roads, amazing countryside, spectacular views, the mystical Romanian culture, the authentic locals and of course a brilliant guide made it a totally awesome experience I'll never forget.

Claudia and Alex were my guides for one of the most memorable vacations I've ever had. Not only were they extremely welcoming and kind people, they are very knowledgeable about the history of the area but they love to ride! They will allow you to ride at your pace, if that be fast and exciting or slow and leisurely. I will hopefully return to do one of the extended tours they offer.

AMT were great. From our first enquiry, Claudia was responsive, knowledgeable and helpful. Pricing is clear and upfront. Bikes were in good condition (mine had around 20k km). We rode 1,800 km over transfargasan - Bucharest - black sea - danube delta - bran - Turda. One bike needed a new battery, which we had fitted at a local garage. Claudia refunded that on my return, no fuss.

Advice: Take the optional panniers. It means you can leave your helmet plus gear locked on the bike when doing the tourist stuff. It also means if you drop (gently) the bike when moving it around, the panniers can save you. Disadvantage of course is manoeuvring through slow moving traffic - but the roads away from Bucharest were great and this was rarely a problem. Take your GoPro (or buy one) for Transfargasan and as a bonus you can use it in the Black Sea at Constanta too, and the Danube and... yeah, take your GoPro

Fantastic sercive, fantastic trip, good price, I do not hesitate to recommend them.

The trip was amazing. They try to feel you comfortable in all the moments of the trip. Alex the guide not is only a guide. He have a lot of knowledge about the monuments, cathedrals, and sites in Romania and he is like one journalist doing goods photos of the trip. Everyday is diferent with good experiences and you can discover how is the Romania more nice.
The bikes are BMW GS, and depends of the level you have 650, 800 and 1200. They are very organized. The first day, is for accomodation, riding with the bike, looking a nice landscapes in the mountains and tasting the typical romanian food, and with this you'll have experience for to ride more later y roads more difficult.
I was in Transylvania, and my mind is other after to this trip. I discovered nice cities like Sighisoara, Brasov, Turda and others. All the cities very medival with castles, bastions and fortifications very nice.
The most incredible for the riders are the roads 'Transalpina' and 'Transfagarasan'. Two roads essential for to do for all the rides of the words. These roads are the delicatessen in the world of the bikes.
The hotels are very nice and the atmosphere in somes hotels in like to be in the castle of Dracula.
Undoubtedly a great experience for riders. I'll repeat other time.

We left from Rome with the intention of visiting the mountainous part of Romania and specifically of Transilvania, we discovered breathtaking views and an incredible welcome from the people we met on our way. The girls and boys from Adventure Motorcycle Tours were of unparalleled kindness, responding to our many requests, coming to help us when we had organizational difficulties, giving us good advice on the best roads to go and giving us bikes in good general conditions. Thank you all. Carlo

We start on a friday morning our trip from Campia Turzii with 3 bikes and drive to the nord to Colibita lake on Bistrita Nasaud country. The road is very good until you go right to Colibita. There the road is with a lot of stones but whwn you arrive to the lake you know that it worthed. After we saw the lake we go bake to the north and start climbing the Tihuta road and sleep to a beautiful house call Eden. The next day we restart the adventure and take another road to go back to Campia Turzii. So we go back until we left the Bistrita City and the turn left and go to Reghin...and the road was just great...many curved curves, but the quality of the extraordinary road ... exactly what a biker needs. We then go to Targu Mures and took a bath at Weekend swimming pool. It was a perfect wekeend!
