If you wanted to visit a mall with less crowd, this mall is for you. The atmosphere is superb. A lot of shops and restaurants to choose from. 30 minutes drive from Gangnam. You can also go here by bus.

Quite a good mall compared to the other local options (like home plus). Good food outlets and a choice of high end (Shinsegae) and budget (E Market and No Brands) markets. Dog friendly as well, if that’s your thing.

A modern mall with a great entertainment center. Sports, adventure and games for all ages. Very nicely organized. Sports Monster at the 4th level.

So hot or warm in all the stores. Even third world countries have better air con in their malls.
Mega mega theater was hot too with little air circulation.
Very clean and nice mall and spacious and nice bathrooms. But again..little air circulation. But that's all of Korean public bathrooms for men in general.

Too hot during summer days. No air con but in stores. Third world Indonesian malls had better air con for malls. Hope it's improved or worked out now. Poor design and temperature control for 2 years.

Nice, large mall but not huuuuuge, as one reviewer put it. I was there with my teenage daughter and we were ready to leave after 2hrs,definitely not "an all day thing", as someone else said, unless you are spending a lot of money on movie tickets, Sports Monster, or a spa that is marketed as a "water park". Oh we did spend 45minutes in the food court waiting on 2 hamburgers and fries. That's how long it took to get them. That entire time we sat next to the counter and watched the employees make sodas with ice 1 minutes before orders came out of the kitchen. Yes, when we finally got our order the ice was melted, the drying watered down and all carbonation gone.

On the US side, if you can call it that, they let dog owners bring their dogs in to pee and poop on the marble floors.

Electromart does have the world's largest Pac-Man game machine.

It's a nice mall with lots of big (& expensive) brands. It's not worth going all the way to this mall to visit the mall, as it's the same as all other country and the same as the average big mall.
I went to the spa with some friends, and the spa was nice. Too bad the massages were fully booked that day and I could only go to the sauna's. Don't get me wrong, it was nice to go to the sauna's, but I really wanted to try their massages.
The spa was clean and 2 towels are provided and the staff there was friendly. I would not go back for a second time, but it was a nice experience.

Starfield is a very welcome addition to the otherwise peaceful suburb of Hanam-si. (At last, peaceful by Seoul standards). Be careful if you take public transportation here, there is another, completely different neighborhood in Seoul called "Hannam dong" that is full of expats and foreigners. This area is called "hanam-SI" pronounced SHE to denote it's a separate city.

If you've ever visited a mall in the Philippines, this is kinda up that alley but fancified. This isn't your typical US shopping center, not even your typical high-end outlet mall. There is literally something to do for everyone, including your canine friends.

Once you enter the sparkling clean gates of Starfield Hanam, you can spend all day at the water park and attached Korean style bathhouse. You can also get your hair styled in the latest fashion, get an intricately designed gel manicure, learn to cook(the anchor store, Shinsegae, has a a full-working teaching kitchen with classes), take virtual flight and a ropes course (MonsterBox), watch the newest movies on fully reclining luxury RESERVED seats while drinking beer, check out the newest Tesla and Hyundai EVs or if diesel motors are your things there's Mini Cooper and Harley Davidson, ogle dogs (unfortunately, puppy-milled, but they're so dumb and small they're very cute at Molly's Pet Shop) and even buy a pet.

The mall is especially geared towards kids and dogs which is very unusual in Korea. There's at least 2 different kids zones (1 in the general mall area and 1 at Shinsegae), an entire wing dedicated to kids shopping, and lots of places to get a snack. I also see kids riding motorized scooters a lot, perhaps you can ask the help desk to rent one?

For food you will find Chinese, Japanese, and Korean high-end as well as casual eating. And lots of western style pub and fast food fare. There's even an On the Border serving Americanized Mexican food. Anyone who's lived in Asia a long time will tell you, it is VERY hard to get good tacos here, so that's someting.

If you're visiting from America, especially the more cosmopolitan parts, about 70% of the stores will be familiar to you. If you're looking for something different, it might not be as interesting for you.

However, if you're willing to REALLY explore, enter stores, nooks and crannies, people watch, and sip and snack, and take advantage of the adult entertainment areas (not tha kind of "adult", I mean the sports center, water park, and movie theater) you can definitely spend the entire day here.

If shopping isn't really your thing, as other reviewers have noted, you should pass.

Even if you don't like "malls" you have to admit, this place is BEAUTIFUL and ridiculously clean and pleasant for shoppers. There are large bathrooms and rest stations with ice cold water easily found on each floor and each wing.

And yes, all the luxury brands are here in one place. I think it's a bigger concentration of names than even Rodeo Drive. Including a random Tom's coffee shop and a Mercedes coffee shop.

This place has everything you need to spend an entire day. Specially, Aqua Park with Spa was the best experience. In-door & out-door swimming pools are available with water slide. If you choose to do Spa, then restaurant is available inside, too. Only downside is you have 6 hour limit to stay in Aqua Park. However, many shops and restaurants give you more options to spend time.

has shopping theme park which provides the experience of shopping, leisure, and healing all in one place. Movie theatre, indoor play area called sports monster which has virtual reality games, roping and walking on the wall + jumping from top.

Great for seeing beautiful shops and eating at nice restaurants.
